我問老師係循班定道班, 佢話循, 即係A班咁話囉.  P1A, P1B嘛.  係o咼你上午校..唔記得添.  C啦我一定要識番個家長同我個女同班, 我好驚佢甩甩漏漏,d 野我無人問呀.

我聽日唔帶老公拿..自己去聽算拿.  我怕佢去到訓覺失禮我.
禽日search到有人話佢小朋友插班入循小四定五, 原本向舊校考好top, 去到循小都考得無咁好...really 咁深?!  我估聽日我都係牛記love記..你到左打比我啦.

"小兒上年由德信插班入循道讀五年級，我覺得循道是一間好學校。班主任還很關心我兒子的行為，情緖等。

不過功課比德信深很多，小兒不適應，第一學期便跌至全班第十名，下學期幾經辛苦才有改善，但全年總成績也只得第八名。認識兩位插班生家長，一個五年班，一個四年班，兩個在原來學校分別考全級和全班第一，但分別跌至全班第六和第七。所以個人認為插班入循道要有心理準。全果原本名列前茅，如非必要，四年班以上還是不要插班為妙。如果成績一般，一心想升上循道中學，那就没問題，因為大部分學生都可以直升循道中學。

至於成績方面，下午班比上午班好。"

我選學校都係(1) 程度好 (2) 有中學上....(3) 校網okay 咁架啫. 下午呀, 你女都係下午係咪, okay okay, 我至驚我女張成績表滿江紅見唔到人啫.  

明年我會試下幾間先啦. 不過要說服我佬.

Sorry for not logging in for such a long time.  This morning I went to the P.1 parents orientation seminar and I found that the school is running in a very systematic way.

Did you find that the teachers are in general quite young?  Maybe the headmaster is really strict in management and the flow in of new blood is on and on to replace the older ones.  I will go to meet with the class teacher on Monday and she said that it would just be a free chat.  Did you have anything in mind to ask so that we can share the info. yielded from the class teacher?

咁不如星期一見到老師就問下佢教左幾多年書啦..    我留意唔哂所有d老師, 傾個幾個都係主任級.. 佢地態度好好呀, 答左我地好多問題, 好無聊既都答o咼..
好鐘意間學校呀... 我覺得好似改進左好多野咁..
單係見到佢個新website已經覺得好有心進步..之前個個實左太差...呵呵.   我個女之前完全無心機睇學校個web... 今日佢已經兩次話要睇... 雖然都仲未完成..佢都要望下.
無expect 會用普通話教中文, 所以今日校長咁講, 我同隔離個媽咪都好開心呀.    我又話埋比個女聽會有大哥哥/大姊姊帶住佢, 但係會同佢講英文架o咼... 佢話好得意o咼... 佢今日都同爸爸講話好鐘意間學校呀....我諗佢感受到我今日好興奮..  哈哈... 可能我要求低.
呀...想問你有冇見到個美勞袋係咩size架?   我同另外一個媽咪掛住傾, 無去睇到個model呀..你地知唔知呢?
其實我都無諗到咩問題問老師, 都係諗住帶個女認識下佢咋.. 你心目中有咩問題呀?

我去完家長會都覺得好開心,如用普通話教中文,更新網頁,校具等.我也有和校長聊了幾句,他也很細心解答我的問題.他說小校有小校的好處,關係會較緊密,我也覺得是真的(其實我兒子的幼兒園也每級只有一班,家校關係非常緊密).星期二我約見了班主任,希望對學校多點認識.

美勞袋大概是27cm x 21cm, 有手挽.

題外話,你覺不覺得當日拉大提琴的小女孩很smart, 琴拉得很好 ? 我也很想讓兒子學大提琴,星期二問問老師詳情.  :wink:

Dear EL and JJ,

1.  About the bag for the Visual Art Lesson:
     Quite difficult to find a bag (with Zip) of the size to put in a box of Pentel colour sticks (12 pieces).  The No-zip bag may have the risk to drop out the small items, like glue stick, etc.  Finally, I have got a plastic bag 12"x12" with a button on top for this purpose.

2.  About the Co-curricular Activities for P.1
     Very impressed by the Duet Cello performance, too.  However many people said that learning string instruments at this age may hamper their piano skill.  I am seriously thinking of this as my kid is not the kind of music fans.  Practising piano is already a torture and I wonder if he can manage one more instrument at this time.  Nevertheless, I am looking forward to enrolling him in his favourite activities, like Taekwondo or  choir.

3.  Questions to ask the Class teacher:
Perhaps I will ask these questions and I will share the answer tomorrow with you all-
a. What is the P.1 homework policy, ie. how much for each subject is expected per school day or during the weekend?

b. Any remedial lessons for P.1?

c. If we have any question to ask individual teachers, what is the most effective means? via phone or email? Cos I am really concerned of the English Reading Scheme mentioned by the English teacher in the seminar.  

d.  What is the seating arrangement at the start of the year?

e.  Does my kid need any money to school?  I do not expect my kid to buy any snacks during the break but I wonder if the majority are doing so or not.  I do not want him to be exceptional!

關於帶錢d part我個日問左.. 小一唔比帶錢.   小2--6就最多比帶$50.  小食部無食物...得飲品.   可以自己帶小食比小朋友小息食.  不過唔贊成帶無益既熱氣野.

英文故事書就好似係夾錢買..好似一年要睇唔知幾多十本.  

我都想個女參加合唱團之類.  要佢練琴我都好煩, 所以要練多樣野我驚我會C.

我想參加家教會做committee...呵呵.. 我已經有一個簽名.  你地邊個可以幫我簽多個?  Or 大家互簽啦..

我都覺得彈大提琴個女仔好醒目...不過個琴咁大佢咁細粒, 好攪笑.

聽日我會問關於普通話教學d part.... 我想知佢地個個中文老師係咪都普通話了得先?   一下之間話轉就轉, 真係個個都識普通話咁厲害?

In the beginning, they will use both Chinese and  English.  After they have tuned in, they will use English only. 1 net for each school.

Not quite sure.  But basically, there are 1 test and 1 exam in the 1st  term and 2 tests and 1 exam in the 2nd term for P1.

唔係有兩個英文老師咩?  24班有2個嘛, 2個上下晝都要幫手.  唔通我誤會左?  
今日問左普通話問題..我問係咪所有用普通話教中文既老師都已經通過中文基準...班主任答話係.  咁我問係咪所有用普通話教中文既老師都係用到流利普通話.. 佢都話係.  而未能用流利普通話既老師係會教小三以上.  因為小三以上仲未用普通話教中文.   而普通話教中文係由上年已經開始, 所以唔係今年既新鮮野.
班主任居然話我個女咬字正...仲同佢講話第時佢努力會比佢朗誦表演..

Because I think it is divided by 2 schools : .  May be you are right.   

I won't think you are 多事.  It is really good to have parents like you with zeal.  May be I will join the commitee next year as well !
