nope. not noisy not dusty. i guess the construction company is required to use special sound proof method to do the construction.
kids were so happy to see the cranes moving though

They only intake 1 class of 25-28 kids. Applied in July 21 for 2022 intake is quite late honestly.  ...

This actually reminds me when I received the acknowledgement email from FIS, somewhere it said "as many of you apply as early as 4 years prior to your child potential enrollment...." I was like... wait, what? 4 years?

Oh... Without a foreign passport, there's almost zero chance to get into TKO campus due to a very strict quota.  If Chai Wan is ok for your family, I suggest you to talk to Admissions ASAP to switch your application to CW campus. You can probably still join the Nursery assessment for CW.

謝謝你的回覆。 其實我冇諗過我嘅小朋友今年會有offer， 一心諗住會喺waiting list on a rolling basis. 如果year 1 插入機會是否更難？

how can you be assured? the best way is to go there to have a look---- experience it and feel it by yourself. no one is more reliable than yourself.
my opinion is only my personal feeling and could only be used as reference.
I am not here to convince anyone and I have zero intention to as I dun work for FIS and I am not on their payroll. Btw, I just went last Friday for lunch with other parents and spent 1.5 hours inside the school for an event, it was fine.
so far my child has zero complain.

I live across the street from that major construction site and don't find it noisy at all. For factual question like this, why don't you come see it for yourself, rather than asking strangers?

Just in case this info helps:
I remember from the school tour a few years ago that the architect did some serious work on the acoustics and noise insulation. That's how the classroom area isn't noisy even though they have 5 classes sharing a more or less open-plan area.

since this is your biggest concern, I still suggest you take a day off from work, then pay a visit there and stay for an hour or more to have a drink or take a walk around in the neighbourhood during weekday. get a feeling of it.

I live on hk island and I actually fall in love with this part of TKO after spending a day there before our Child's first day at school.
I think the air there is cleaner than most of the places on hk island for sure

Seriously, having poor people living near me or my kids' school isn't something that I would worry about...

may i ask where did u get the info about the transitional housing
coz we live nearby too and we read the planning there's no clue saying about this

as the urban planning in hk always mix the private and public housing, not to worry
