聽到你用過來人既身份黎講你,你係細女可應付到,我好開心因為好多人只會話細仔唔得,早入學只會害左佢,另我覺得自己害左佢,攪到我諗住同佢讀多年,但佢幼稚園老師唔比話佢ok,有好多人都應付到,而家有你講完,我到安樂d,希望我地d仔女可共同努力啦~

你囡囡在數學哪方面差呢?

我自己覺得9-12月出生的小朋友在9月未足6歲入學並不一定輸蝕。

當年想替女兒(11月出生)報真光及培正，它們均要求小朋友在8月31日前出生才可報名，我覺得既然她己可入讀官津的小一，為何要遲一年? 結果她由小一至小六的課程都應付自如，還有時間參加很多課外活動，亦是學校的Head Prefect。

所以如果你覺得你的小朋友可以應付的，就沒有問題，除非你要入培正啦。

我個仔都是十二月尾出世, 今年九月升上小一, 他在幼稚園每年都是優才生, 但他的自理能力不是太好, 我現在都有少許擔心, 因為小一他是全日制, 不知他在學校可不可以自己吃飯

我個大女都係10月出生, 未足六歲讀小一, 今年升3年級, 成績都有中上, 沒有什麼問題. 數學仲好好, 反而英文就差些.

我覺得佢中英數主科都ok,但表逹能力同繪圖就差d,
其實細仔細女都未必一定差過大仔大女的,
好似我個仔係班度係尾三細個ge,
佢係讀PN班果陣真係樣樣都唔係好得,
咁你可以幫吓佢,我就比佢去左上公民式,我覺得上左一排,佢ge數學同英文真係好左d,
而係平日,我會一個禮拜同佢溫一次書,
佢係啱啱過左ge K2學年,上學期考第三,下學期考第四(雖然唔係好高名次,但對於細仔ge佢黎講,我覺得好滿意架喇)
總結細仔先天雖然係細個大仔,學野可能慢左少少,但只要家長擺少少心機指導吓佢,得出黎個成果未必會差得過大仔架,

係啦, 同你差不多, 仲有佢係有D驚計數, 我都同老師傾過, 佢話叫佢計3幾條數佢就OK, 一叫佢計10幾20條, 佢就越計越錯, 亂晒大龍。  所以最近補習我都叫Miss比密Ｄ佢計，程度可以淺Ｄ，等佢有信心同習慣多Ｄ。

Dear angelymama,

My daughter was born in Dec also. She is going to study P.1 in Sept very soon. I don't think she will have a problem with this aging for P.1 because she had no problem to study at all in the kindergarten. However it is true that she shows quite immature for this "small" age in terms of general behaviour if to compare with those "elder" kids. In this summer holiday, she has been taught swimming by a professional swimming teacher for 8 lessons. Now she knows how to swim at the age of 5 years 8 months. Therefore, the clue is it really depends so much on parents/teachers' effort in most case.

我個人覺得，不能只看其他孩子ok，就覺得一樣無問題囉。

最重要的是看孩子本身的資質。

如果用智商黎講，如果小朋友本身的智商係100個人裡頭的五十，咁，如果佢係細細仔，咁，同年頭年中又是有平均智商的當然差少少。
咁，如果你的細仔細女平均智商係100裡頭的四十，咁，即係低於平均，咁，仲要係細仔細女，咁，當然追唔上，家長和小孩都會很吃力，自信心也減少....咁真係無眼睇囉。

當然年紀大一點可能又會追返，不過，如果本身資質真係低於平均水平，真係要考慮一下延遲入學喇。

如果資質本身好好，甚至智商高過平均年齡，譬如100個小孩中，係排行60或以上，咁，當然無問題。甚至一百個人中係排行80或以上，咁，這些資優小朋友不單可以應付自如，仲可以跳班添。

因此，應因應不同小朋友本身的能力而取捨。.....也不要太勉強....

      但是, 就我聽D小一家長的所言, 在身體上的會有不足的地方, 年齡較細的小朋友(五歲幾), 在身體肌肉的協調上可能會6歲半的較差:
1/尢其是擺動小手指的小肌肉, 例如: 用剪刀, 拿匙.x吃飯和餸較難(用筷子更難).
2/ 空間感較差:如收拾自己的玩具.書籍, 他們知道要收拾, 但不知如何整理, 就算我們教了他, 進步亦較慢.
3/ 手腳協調較差, 無論是跑或走, 會無故自己跌倒.

     所以, 五歲幾入讀小一, 可能會在美勞堂, 午餐時和收拾課室的書桌上有困難, 如果在家中訓練定, 可能會好D.

      唔知你們是否有以上的情況? 或者升小二的家長, 你們的小朋友昨年(小一)時, 以上的情況是否改善?

     我覺得在年齡上的差別不大的話, 而見小朋友的學習唔會好慢的話, 就讓他們升小一.

My kid was born at the end of October in 2000. I'm considering let her repeat k3, not only because she's a small girl. We are trying to avoid the sudden increase in birth in 2000. The birth number in 2001 is almost 11% less than 2000. She will have these number of kids going to secondary school and also university. The competition is higher. If she repeats one year, she will be more mature and more compeitive. And also less competition. That's what I have in mind at the moment.

I would suggest those parents who consider to let your kids to repeat to think it carefully before making your decision.  It is truth that little kids "在身體上的會有不足的地方", but not usually on 學習能力.  On physical side, you will not find the difference when they are in P.2 or P.3 when kids are growing up.  My daughter is born in September, and have quite good result in K3 and going to study P.1 in the coming September.  Of course, she is not as good as those elder kids on physical side.  But I can't see the big difference with compare to a kid born few months earlier or later.  

I would suggest to think it over to consider also your daughter or son's feeling as kids are more smart nowadays.  They will ask why the other classmates go to promote to upper class, which may hurt them that you may not know at the moment.  Of course, if they really cannot catch up with others but not for the other reasons, repeat may be the solution.
