ESF Wukaisha Kindergarden - quite unacceptable

i am really astounded to get the waiting list only for an interview. esf is not that top-notch IS school and even can boast itself so much with this unreasonable rule in admission. School in hk is really being pampered.

This is how most IS conduct their business, I.e. you need to pay an application fee regardless of having a chance for interview or not...that’s the game...
In this current situation in HK, I guess there will even be more ppl applying for ESF or alike; will be even more competitive to get in lol

yes you can. but think twice it is hkd500K only for an interview priority. but I guess this will facilitate the way for entry to esf.

ESF 網址有寫，唔一定有得IN,  其實500蚊如果入到係直到中學畢業。 冇辦法一定多人報

500k for priority to interview is a bit misleading... it is 50k first for priority for interview, if you get accepted, then you pay the 450k. Amortised over kindie, primary and secondary its around 38k a year, a lot of parents are fine to make this investment especially if they have more than 1 child.

The zone for wks, sjs and sc is one of the best esf clusters of schools in terms of IB results, the classrooms are wonderfully equipped with really nice facilities, it is worth every penny.  

Even though you got wait-list, there is still a chance to be called for a playvisit as people start dropping out during deposit stage and first school term payment stage. Even after school starts seats do open up. Stay positive, you have foreign passport, still got chance.

平心而論,佢喺個網址寫清楚 ,因為太多人報,所以隨機抽number ,同埋跟priority ,如果你random number唔靚, 唔係一定有得in ,其實畀五百蚊, 如果好彩抽到有得interview, 又收咗,係直到中學畢業, 所以多人報係好正常, 太多人in 唔曬, 都無可厚非, 憎多粥少, 唯有報多幾間back up
佢網站寫得好清楚唔係一定有得in， 如果唔接受應該唔好報名。

上年青衣個校長promise左全部人都有得in, 唔知校長走咗之後今年有冇變呢？不過其他分校不嬲都係唔擔保一定有得in, 呢個都好多年㗎啦⋯⋯之前連外國expats嘅仔女都冇得in啦
