我嘗試答：老師改功課會將錯grammar, typo圈起，然後改正，加s，加es一些基本的grammar, plural/singular, noun/adjective都會教，但唔會有「今堂教present tense,下堂教present continuous tense」之類的堂，上堂會用有趣的方法去講一個人的習慣係present tense, 佢做緊的動作係present continuous, 不過唔會好似傳統學校要背幾十個tenses。錯咗咪改正，睇書多左，上堂聽老師同同學多左，自然唔會"She are/ I is/ They is", 不過好似run轉running, 點解要double n, 或者phonics 的Magic e, 以前我都係靠死背，現在唔同晒，所以外國人一樣會錯grammar, 一樣會串錯字。語言環境可以幫到大部分，但不是全部。而且三年級開始每年會考澳洲ICAS 試，你會知道佢大概的程度。

我聽過其中一個家長講，佢參加過真道從美國請回來的professor 分享，小一、小二時如果太著眼於錯處（即是錯會扣分），小朋友為左怕錯，就怕寫，因為寫多錯多扣分自然多，漸漸變得無創意。

至於IBDP前要考IGCSE, IGSCE係比HKCEE還淺一點點，而grade分A*,A,B,C...., 兩至三年前好似CKY開始只收6科C或以上, 不過唔知有冇改。坦白講，如果6科C的成績都達唔到，比個學生繼續讀IB只會更辛苦，不如去讀一些自己的專長再發展。我唔敢講學校有什麼支援，但英文同普通話口語同聆聽有一定水準，相信總可以生活！只是家長會覺得交咁貴學費，值唔值呢？

幾年前，我為左想了解當時大學對IB的認受性，聽過UST的non-Jupas的一個seminar同HKU的一個seminar, 當時都知道大學好喜歡IB的學生，巳就在當時遇見以前一個朋友，現在在UST undergraduate admission office工作, 係佢話我聽收生要求，最近再打聽，都是大約36分，所以我再沒有更多資料！希望解答到你地的疑問！

First of all, huge thanks to Lamka and woji's useful information and insightful opinion!
I have been read-only for long time, but after seeing the meaningful sharing, I decided to register as a member to say thank you to you!
I am also facing the same question in the past week: cky vs tsl? IB vs DSE? as although my girl is interested to explore and inquire, she is shy and low profile, and also trainable under "traditional academic mode". We like both schools which undoubtedly are very good schools.
After getting the insight from Lamka, I know how to approach this question.
EK needs this type of useful and helpful sharing by existing users or members with relevant knowledge.

In CKY, Even though your daughter is low profile, she would probably be picked to attend some competitions or recitals, such as class recital, PTH group recital, music instrument performance. Y1 &2  teachers are well experienced in giving presentation chances for every student.

2間都是好學校。 個人覺得分別在於learning approach 和最終的公開試。

大家太言重了，只是個人的少少分享，我在EK睇左好耐，平時好少開聲，不過見到有些家長有我當年的煩惱，所以希望分享下自己見到和感受到的。不竟，IB對好多接受傳統教學的家長來說，是有點迷惘，尤其是自己的孩子完全能適應傳統教學時，就更加難以取捨。

正如woyj講，我見過文靜內向的小朋友，入去數年之後，可以企係個台上做話劇同出外參加辯論比賽，學校未必選成績最叻的，只是選最有能力和有熱誠，所以每個孩子都有機會！

不過，TSL絶對是一間好學校，只是唔想再煩升中（加當年教唔到），所以冇你地的happy problem!

i agreed with you that getting 38 points is not easy. For comparing reason, do you have the requirement of getting in via DSE? It would bemore meaningful if we can compare from both sides .

查到了, HKU 的 Psychology 不是獨立的大學選科, 是Social Sciences 呢一科中可選科目之一的.

港大Social Sciences的JUPAS code 係 JS6717, 上年DSE成績既收生要求:

Best 5: 25-28/35, 平均收生分數: 27/35

如果IBDP要 38/45分先收, 即係要係 ~top 84%
DSE收生平均分 27/35, 即係只要 ~top 77%
