題外話。

如果學生沒有申請某一課程，但收生辦事處將學生個人資料/私隠未經許可之下，告知非處理有關資料人事，是否违反私隱？

為何認為是收生辦事處做的呢?會不會是那學生所讀的學校?收生辦事處應不會那麼早知道學生的IB成績,亦應該無咁積極。

學校在放榜前一晚已得知學生的 IB 成績，我相信 HKU 是在放榜前從學校取得尖子電話，再 cold call 。在個人資料私隱角度看，做法值得相榷

不是，是學生，學校及各地申請的大學收生辦事處同步知道！

如果學校或大學洩密，都是有問題！

以今年為例，5/7/2016放榜，學校在5/7/2016取得所有學生成績，學生可在6/7/2016上 ibo 網查詢成績。有些學校在 6/7/2016 早上在學校分發成績，早 ibo 網半日。

Schools actually receive the results on the afternoon of July 5 and can issue them on paper at that point if they wish.

如無記錯，公佈成績當日香港時間上午已有學校同IB狀元一同接受訪問，咁即學校会比考生早知成績?

Honestly, it is really hard to say what exactly happened. It might not be the whole story the student revealed. I am sure there are much more full scores students that were being contacted once results were out. But so far, not many students let these cats out. I have total respect to those that kept these matters to private.
