Am a Harts user. Regarding the question of the school letting their kids to write starting from 2nd term of K1, I initially also have concerns that it's a bit aggressive as most other kids would start writing in first term of K2 as for most kindergartens and as suggested by EDU. However, I still finally chose Harts considering all factors. Now my kid is studying K1 and I found that although part of their homework is to write Chinese characters, the teachers would still factor in each individual kid's development and capability. They wouldn't push the kids if they found them not yet ready to write. So I think they have great flexibility and are very caring in that that would cater each kid's situation. I believe that HKPS would be the same and even more sophisticated than Harts. All in all, I would vote for HKPS over Victoria unless VSA is your only target for primary. |
