That's the key point. You need to give up SPC in order to participate SSPA to try Band 1A government / subsidized schools like QC / KC / LS / SJC.
I don't think any SPCPS parents will take that risk. Therefore, SPCC and DBS will be the only realistic choices for SPCPS students if they look for a better secondary school than SPC.
In all, SPCPS (St. Paul College Primary School) is a better and trouble free choice if you are happy with SPC. If you are so desperate to get into a Band 1A secondary school, SFA will give you a higher chance, no matter thru SSPA or primary school transfer.
Both SPCPS and SFA are good schools. You are lucky to have this happy problem.
