If you target medicine for 2016 entry, the deadline of UCAS was 15 Oct 2015.  

Oxbridge have different emphasis on pre-U results.  If you have good GCSEs and 3As or above in A level, Oxford (but not Cambridge) is still a viable choice provided that your performance in their written test and subsequent interview (if invited) is good.  However, the deadline was again 15 Oct 2015 for 2016 entry!

Your daughter may consider Neuroscience or Psychology instead of Medicine. If she insists med, try to find some lower ranking unis (UK). Actually 4A's predicted grades are pretty good for most science-based courses, except med.

Eg. Kent's psychology requirement: AAB.

Other good unis she may consider applying with these predicted grades: KCL, York, Manchester.

The result will be distributed after the exam in HK.

The result is part of the consideration.  In UK, academic result is considered partial. The working experience and voluntary work also are considered.

亮兄太謙，但自己孩孑俾他們差很多，英O字頭/C字頭大學 太太難，医/law冇可能，不過如他們叻孩子入了，有可能ㄧ年級有好成績回港報医/law,只希望考個水電牌，做個水喉匠也好好了。

其實我已勸喻放棄！但佢好堅持要試，唉！佢安排自己再今年  AS ( retake ) 同  A1 一齊考, 咁辛苦為嘜？

由得佢報啦。 我自已當年報大學，父母叫報accounting ...結果我都無報呢科，我有報醫生、牙醫、architecture ...結果呢3科都唔收，最後讀左同呢3科完全無關係的科。
我大女我都係由得佢自己揀報乜同報邊間大學。

唔緊要既！佢地已經有目標，自動波就得，父母責任只係鼓勵、俾意見，佢地會做決定，放心啦！我兩個有你女女一半就安樂喇！

我無阻止佢，亦唔會潑佢冷水，只係同佢權衡輕重，話定佢知我預期嘅結果，佢要有定心理準備去接受，然而我都會支持同鼓勵佢，亦會尊重佢嘅決定，我都唔想他日佢會後悔 ！

唔係謙，只係事實，如果佢地有大學收，又讀到佢地既興趣科目的話，已經還得神落。依家水電牌唔易考架！可能我資質低又蠢，考電牌要考兩次先得，聽聞水喉牌仲難考。

係呀，到時自然會接受現實揀其他科，唔通唔讀書咩，宜家只係過唔到自己心理關口。我其實唔建議重考，除非第一次考試時係因為特別原因導致考得唔理想，唔係的話，考多次都未必會更高分。

不過我自己想，經 GCE A level人讀兩大醫科的學生，如果留港考 DSE...都應該有好多人都人到醫科。  A level，無番咁上下份量，真係好難全 A*。

講真，讀 同 畢業是兩回事，医除成績好，要有愛心及興趣，自己知孩孑喜上網，聽歌看動漫，估日語合佢多D
