Sagesage, 介唔介意講下學校有咩好嚴嘅規則？講真我個囡真係好曳，完全自我型，好似今日去上playgroup, miss 拎走佢手上嘅野，佢鬧人😖 今日佢因為唔夠瞓心情係差啲，但會鬧外人都係第一次..... 但正因為咁，我希望學校都可以教到佢有改善

My boy used to attend TT playgroup but switched to Anfield for PN mainly bcos of proximity and primary. I personally have no experience with York but saw kids from York in interest class. Seem to have lotsa homework.
Anfield Whampoa K2 graduates into anfield primary, RC, CAIS, BHS, KJS this year. Have kid switching back to local K3.

York is for local school route and you can forget, plus the arrogance of the staff guarding the entrance of the Cumberland street branch put me off. They treat as if they own the street (and one even once said 條街係我地嘅）

If you want to go IS route , you must get your kid into either a through train one by K1 or at least one with very high chance of getting into its own primary school (like ESF, Anfield etc). The present priority system running in most IS means those with no priority will be extremely hard to get in grade 1. You will be stucked after K2. If you are Caucasians or mixed it may help a bit though.

Thus you certainly should go for anfield for PN, then perhaps try Esf at K1

Not sure about this year. For last year school admin said eventually all who still want a place got in. Bearing in mind that some may have taken offer from other schools already tho less preferable.
I saw quite a few went to ymca primary (forgot the exact name).

actually now i let my gal attending playgroup in both anfield (toddlerotics 1 day) n york (2 days), your suggestion is really my plan, i will go for anfield for PN, then try esf at k1

i apply for york playgroup coz anfield accept child in playgroup at 18 months old, my gals was jus 15 months and at that moment i am not very clear about york. Honestly, i think york playgroup is good, not harsh, and the teachers are nice, even my gal is quite naughty, they are still very patient with her. But as york is not my choice anymore, i will change to 2 or 3 days playgroup in anfield.

Another point to consider, Is your kid big or small baby? Mind u kowloon tong Anfield only accepts big B into nursery( pre K) , whampoa Anfield accepts both.

我小朋友之前係讀York, york係一間好特別嘅學校，佢係谷，但谷得嚟d 小朋友好開心，因為佢地教學手法一D都唔傳統，至於話考証書，其實就好個人，又唔好話人地係無聊，以我所知，好多私幼D家長都四圍樸cert, 晤係特定某間kg, 至於D人成日話york商業，我都唔知何為商業？！我小朋友在york讀左兩年幾，每個月比足學費，但就攞突哂返嚟，尼D只有真正用家才能體會到，我囡囡讀完York, 今年在CAIS讀Grade 1, 所以York唔係一定以傳統小學為target, 如果選多次，我仍然會比我小朋友讀York.

想問下你小朋友性格算唔算比較定？同埋比較聽話？我小朋友鐘意周圍走，個個都坐定定佢就走左去捉都捉唔住，有時玩完啲玩具樂器要還俾老師，如果佢唔想還，佢會走到班房最遠..... 佢其實又唔係唔乖，只係好有自己主見，唔制就唔制，如果佢呢啲性格其實係咪唔太受YORK呢種學校歡迎？

同埋可唔可以分享下除左你囡囡，多唔多人去國際學校？

我小朋友3月出世，係大B，其實我都已經交左表喇anfield PRE-K, 好大心理壓力，好怕錯過左啲日子

我今個星期先正式返anfield playgroup, 之前只係toddlerobic, 不過都係返weekend, 如果佢真係好我下季就會轉報2／3 day playgroup, 咁到時可能唔返york 喇，返唔到咁多。今個星期返埋最後一堂little gym 都無再報喇

I agree with you. Although there are quite a lot of homework, the school can make the kids happy and strong at academics.

York 簡直不在考慮之列即使 target 傳統名校, 如你自問係可以"被"谷的家長咁其實邊間都一樣, 佢係谷家長 (洗家長腦) 去谷小朋友, 考進名校係學校功勞, 考唔到係家長唔夠配合囉, 唔好忘記最近入神校, 大個黑眼圈, 學非洲鼓個小朋友係大抽獎的, 我小朋友係2個月用家,  York 極商業, 自問難被洗腦亦唔谷得, 更不認同其辦學手法, 好彩走得早!

我有朋友小孩讀york k2話好多功課，做得喊，最後轉了去國際。

Don't know whether you've made up your mind. You can sign up for both for one month and let the child decide. Several of my friends did so, their kids clearly prefer TT. Anfield is not too international, both in its registered category and teaching philosophy, and teacher turnover rate is pretty high, probably kinda true for many kinders.

york 真係唔見議。一直不喜歡york. 本來這所學校就是谷 十 咩都要額外收錢的學校。完全不覺得好
