履歷夠厚人冇heart 尖子難入醫學院 中大：忌自視高 要有醫德

我相信中大醫學院都會在合資格的DSE學生中精挑細選才準許跳讀第二年, 否則二年級醫科生何來那麼多屍台上解剖課堂. 第一年的課堂相對於完成整個專科醫生資格的歲月可謂微不足道.

我一向都相信教育系應該循步漸進，所謂無欲速，無見小利。欲速，則不達；見小利，則大事不成。

那些醫科生不是一定為小利, 佢地有能力或抱負再take gap year 去外國頂尖醫療機構exchange. 培育頂尖人才是需要`伯樂`. 不應只放眼於讀五年或六年後, 做完houseman 去開診所的框恇.

其實學分減免是透明的，不單止醫科，是看公開試成績，例如DSE中文及英文5**，各扣減6個學分，lB HL有7都一樣，不是偏袒醫科。

入到大學，所謂中英文有些似幫英中學生補底中文，中中學生補底英文，係幾淺㗎，5**左上真是浪費時間。

可以能夠減免學分科目，絕大部分不是教授教㗎，是Instructor 或者 lecturer 教。中文，英文，體育，電腦，大通，書通，點會教授教。

你講得啱，第一年係中學料，三改四係幾無謂！

醫科不計Honour，問題不大，其他科計GPA及Honour，學分減免又未必有着數！

agree. year 1 完全是浪費時間金錢. 讀多一年, 不一定是進步, 可以是退步.

真心而論一个医生不單要學術方面好，他是要all round,尤其這是related to 人命！過於急進的医生，你敢放心把你他的命給他嗎？

也不是浪费時間，看你點使用，其實在中大選修科非常自由，有能力的學生文理工商科的課程任take，是不是浪費時間，好講各人選擇，當年我暫取入4年制的中大，year 1, take 咗45学分，忙到痴肺，也是一生美好的回忆。
其实医科5年/6年各有優点，看个人取向，讀多一年基础年，之后那5年不会因為这样而容易咗。
但是6年制的year 1 可能是医科生唯一可以享受U life 的一年。所以真系好看个人取向。

我個人來講，其实我比較偏向6年制，因为第一年可以选修不同学院的课程，增廣见識。
但是如果5年制使我有时間去外国名校做exchange, 我会毫不犹豫选5年制，因为去外国做exchange 那年得到的会比6年制的基础年得到更多更多！

係咪畢業個科成績好就可以直接考interim and exit; 減幾年做specialist? 根本就是教學邏輯同理念有問題，拔苗助長！此收生之風不可長

所以每個醫科生都要pass 3 part 考試, 當中有頗重的臨床考驗. 香港的醫科試是最嚴謹之一, 教授會清楚糾正每個醫科生的進度, 否則會不給與合格評分. 我對兩所大學教出來的醫生非常信任.

對! 學海無涯, 從來是貴精不貴多. 尤其醫科, 重視實戰和醫德, 多於語文能力.

I agree with ykkwoka, higher education requires a solid fondation. It is especially important in Med as graduates will be facing decisions of life or death, which will require knowledge of physics, chemistry, biology, general knowledge, and a good sense of ethics. The first year allows the university to build this fondation and preparing the students to apply their knowledge with the important skills that they will acquire in the following years. Besides, DSE curricula are not designed to give the proper education for the gifted, the first year will give the university a perfect opportunity to fill in the gaps, again, making sure their fondation is solid.

yes. 讀過大學都知, 除了一些專科(medi, law, dental, archi, ...etc), 大部份degrees其實2年已經可以讀完. 3年叫做有些通識, 4年其實係浪費了納稅人$$.

90% of the material learned in year 1 has nothing to do with medicine. The remaining 10% can be covered in 2 weeks time in later years.
The knowledge of phy chem bio  learned in DSE is more than enough for medical school!

And only the most gifted students can choose the 5 year program, don't worry too much as all have to pass the brain-cell- killing professional exam before they can become doctors !

你有所不知, medical school first, physics, chemistry, biology，languages taught in year 1 比中學的更淺．對大部份學生是浪費時間．
至於ethics.一定會教，其實係好易，屬基本思考知識，學左亦唔等如為人ethical!

University is not a technical institute! Apart from the major program, students have more time to explore, develop other interest, and join exchange in the 4 year program
