一樣米養百樣人，我只是指我認識的個別導師，甚至在浸大音樂系我都只是認識一個敎授。我不識得曬全部 APA  嘅人，我在發言時亦只是指有 d 老師，唔係話全部。 希望各位亦不要以偏概全。

From BK forum, I am given to understand that APS does not recognize piano. So how is APS' teachers introduce their teachers to students' relatives or friends.

Bty, would you tell me which tutor in APA charges $900/hr. I am interested in finding APA piano tutor (not their students) to teach my two sons in piano.

for  APA  導師，$900 /hr 平咗 d  !

APA 學生約收 $400 /hr，畢業生可以收到$500 -600 /hr　（教初級）。

I don't think those students should be able to charge for $600/hr lor!

請問 APA 畢業生 (Advanced Dip., Professional 及 Cert. of Music Performance) 教violin的要多少$/hr?  我曾接觸一位好像要$400-500.  Thank you.

如果小朋友學習鋼琴後而很想有所成就, 他們一定會勤力練習, 努力考試。

但若小朋友因為考試而練習, 或許他們心裏是不喜歡的, 便形成那位年輕鋼琴家所說, 很多人有技巧, 沒修養。

我希望我的小朋友是有技巧亦有修養的, 是享受的, 而不是競爭的。所以我想, 學懂後而自彈自唱便足夠了。

我亦很慶幸有這開明的姑奶, 她是大家姐, 有時有點"霸氣", 但大家姐就是這樣(我也是大家姐), 都是會為弟妹好的。

一般的APA新畢業生收的公價，是 $400- 500，但是有d 已經打響明堂(即是說佢教出來嘅學生考試不是D 就是 M　）的是收這個價錢。

根我所知， Professional Dip 和入小交是沒有一個必然關係，(e.g. 先畢業後小交或vice versa )。

關於老師收費，亦有很多因素影響。

例如，林克漢先生教我個姪仔小提琴的，只是收佢$1,300 一個月四堂，是否說佢收得平而不是名家﹖

但是佢不會教junior ，亦不會教１１　級(請自己去歐洲入音樂學院) 。佢收學生只是為興趣，而不是為錢。如果沒有天份、或者是不勤力，多多錢佢都會掃出門口。我個姪仔而家讀小六，已經考完八級小提琴和綱琴，成績總算令佢d老師高興。

所以找老師是一分錢一分貨之餘，亦要考慮多方面的因素。要學的話亦唔好貪便宜，等於我唔會叫我個姪仔教綱琴，雖然佢已經有八級distinction。

Yes, APS doesn't count the kids piano achievement much.

There was a misunderstanding, I mentioned "instruments' tutors", not piano teachers, earlier .. :wink:

My son's piano teacher (who is an APA student) charges 300-350 per hour. His teacher in APA charges $900/hr and only teaches very high grade students. And he/she (I don't know the teacher myself) will pick his/her students thru his/her own tests and the teacher has been fully occupied, according to my son's teacher.

Sorry,    I meant my son's teacher's APA teacher  charges $900 per hour. For my son's piano teacher (he is an APA student) charges $300 for lower grades, and $350 for higher grades.
