感覺統合有問題相信是先天的，我將個理論簡單化來了解係人體內部溝通有問題，所以有啲我地覺得無問題嘅嘢小朋友則很敏感，例如有啲小朋友覺得搽lotion好唔舒服，有啲會對某啲聲音會好大反應．可能在腦部發育嘅時候某d部份過份發展，或者一d負責平衡嘅部份則發展得唔好．anyway我都唔係太明，只係嘗試分享下．但好似有啲小朋友通過感覺統合訓練會有改善，好似mrsphcheung話齋，到底都係搵適合自己小朋友嘅訓練最重要，好似人參咁補都會有人唔啱．

Dear all,

SI theory is based on the latest research studies of brain , which state that all our senses reach the brain stem and integrated together there before reaching the corresponding handling brain areas. The time difference btw signals to reach this integrating area would also  cause the kid to chase after certain stimulation repetitively.

The problem of integration is usually caused by the improper early development of the brain , which is mainly induced by insufficient or non-effective physical activities such as creeping and crawling . This can be easily to rectified by resolving the blockages at the reflex in the  pathway.

Over-sensivity is believed that the signal is abnormally amplified during the transmission such that the handling area gives out an over-responding signal for protection to the reacting area, usually flight or fight ( get away or attack the source ). The actions are often rapid and blunt that cause us the impression of over-response. The excessive usage of food additives and favoring taken by mothers is believed to be a key causing factor for over-sensitivity.

Hope the above can clear up the understanding the cause of sensory integration and thus the theoretical basis of the solution.

請問，我仔仔十月就六歲，但還未排到早期訓練，但早期訓練只是去到六歲，那麼將會如何呢﹖就算下個月排到，也可能只可治療幾次，六歲後就不會再給予服務﹖而且若是感覺統合有問題，政府也要做assessment先，真不知政府可幫到幾多﹖我已fax了application form去痙攣協會，排期做assessment。

我同個仔返早期訓練, 有安排感覺統合俾佢, 係係一個好安全的課室, 用唔同的輔助工具做訓練, e.g. slide, swing,健身球等
我還叫老師教我點樣係屋企度做簡單訓練

我仔仔六月就六歲有返早期，亦有職業治療(ST)．問咗中心早期會返埋八月，ST會在八月前做多次評估如果覺得有需要繼續會寫報告返CAC，CAC會再見仔仔，如果覺得有需要會轉介返醫院做ST．仔仔未排到早期前亦有安排過去九龍醫院做ST．

若再轉介去醫院做st, 又要再排期﹖又要排好耐﹖我有個朋友是職業治療師，我問她她說屯門醫院要排一年。她雖然是職業治療師，但不懂得感覺統合的治療，因為要再讀書才可有資格做的。她還說，香港不是很多職業治療師有這張cert的。

眼見前路，好似越來越難行，就快要面對選擇小學的問題，什麼學校才適合他呢﹖一個言語發展慢，專注力差，社交能力不太好的小朋友，這真是一個大難題。
