各位媽咪：

我仔仔都係今年九月要選小學，他依家讀緊I位，他的問題是發展遲緩和專注力不足，仲未confirm到係咪ADHD，但好大機會係AD。

請問港島東和灣仔有那些主流小學會較合適？主要是小班教學和課程較淺，仲要肯接納ADHD 的小朋友？

我兒子的情況有7,8乘和你兒子相同.不用過早label了他是否ADHD,我個人覺得他經過了小一的洗禮後,有很大的改變,可要觀察多些時間,不用太心急. 最重要是找一間老師愛心和能多與家長溝通的學校.

小兒也是在政府到平估是ADHD,當時也是五歲,還轉介到精神科.但上了小一後,情況大有改善,已不會把課室反轉和emotion已能control,我堅持不用藥,只用行為治療.到現在老師也覺得他不像ADHD,懷疑過早評估有誤差.

Dear hhmami,

Same as you, my boy will apply for P.1 in this September.  I live in island east and will send him to a primary school nearby as this can save the travelling time.

According to my trainers' advice, Shaukiwan崇真,梁李秀娛,Taihang李陞 & 聖米迦勒 are quite good.   There is excess demand for 聖米迦勒.  DON'T TRY 北角官小 as the teachers there don't consider children's learning difficulties (this is a real experience).  In fact, many government schools are like this.  They just implement the policy without sincerity.  

Heep Hong will have a school visit at 梁李秀娛 in early May.  You may try.  

Maybe, our boys will go to the same school.....

我個細路(自閉傾向, 但我覺得佢似AD多的)又係今年揀小學.......但係重日日發緊夢咁. 遲一年入學會否好一點? 我好驚佢上小一後佢死我死老師死...

I have visited Taihang升陞 last year. The headmaster is open and knowledgeable. He made it very clear that they cannot handle with serious emotional problem. But for dylexsia is OK.

The school has a lot of non-Chinese students. You have to consider this factor.

The school, I believe, is quite heat now because I guess a lot of non-Chinese students will choose this school.

How's your child's situation right now?  My boy is also suspected to be attention deficit which results in developmental delay rather than autistic.  Just share.

Dear anna_gigi,
What is the problem of your daughter?  I have talked to the principal of 崇真 and is impressed by her never giving up working attitude.  In fact, there are some less able children in this school and the teachers can accept them.  Why don't you suggest 崇真?  Please advise.  Thanks.

我個係女. 四歲九個月, 而家講話一舊舊, 唔識分場合. 去拜山會唱生日歌, 復活節講恭喜發財 .  成日自言自語, 成日在學校周圍走. 不過話佢的功課唔識佢又唔係. 最差係數概, 最叻係英文. 手腳不靈活, 不懂用剪刀剪形狀, 上落樓梯很"論盡".

咁點升小啊??

You may let your daughter repeat N4 or K3 if you don't feel comfortable to let her go to P.1.  

My son is just 5.  His major problems are 6-month speech delay and attention deficit.  I may let him go to P.1 and let him repeat P.1 if he can't catch up the school work.

2006年崇真小學要由柴灣搬回箕基灣成為全東區最有創新校舍,,我和有些讀緊崇真家長有研討過,到時學校會谷banding, 如ADHD小朋友讀可能比較辛苦少少 :cry:
我個囡囡唔係ADHD, 係個仔有ADHD.

For your information, Tai Hang李陞 is highly recommended by the social workers of the Watchdog for special needed kids.

Dear anna_gigi,
As the inspection report of EMB stated that 崇真used to have undesirable academic performance, it may try to push its students to work harder in the future.
Actually, every school in HK must "谷banding".  If they can't have good academic performance, no parents will choose them.  They may be "killed" eventually.

Dear anna_gigi,
筲箕灣"愛秩序官立小學" has too many students.  I prefer small school and small class size.  In addition, I don't really like government schools.

Is "臻美" difficult to get enrolled?  I am afraid that my child may not perform well during the interview.  Do you know any students from HK island going to this school?  Thanks.
