不過也要考慮那些學校的理念/教學法是否自己都認同。

我老公在一教育機構任職，基本上我仔都可以在這機構由幼稚園一路讀上去。不過由於我們對孩子的教育理念和機構的不相同，我們也沒有讓仔仔straight in 此校，寧願帶他考其他學校！

Agree with Teresa. Instead finding a matched 教育理念 DSS or private school is much easier than those pulic ones which are ruled by Educational board.

我見囡囡而家讀k2, 學習都無大問題, 心智仲比同班同學mature. 怕佢出年見人人上小學, 自己要repeat k3 會好hurt, 所以想博一博.無謂浪費佢時間.

教署規定幼稚園最低入學年齡為兩歲八個月。你囡囡二００一年一月出生, 應該是讀K1, 可否分享如何可以提早入學呢?

小一入學的最低年齡是五歲八個月，所以你囡囡應該在二００七年九月入學，除非是國際學校。

her school still have vancancies at Nov 2002. so i asked for an interview after the normal intake period. she passed the interview and i agreed to start her school day on 4 Sept 2003 (she was 2 yrs and 8 months old).

her school already told me i should repeat one year kindergarten. I just want to check if i can apply private schools and enter primary school when she is 5 yr 7 month 28 day.  I know int'l school has no age limit, but school fees and language will be a problem.

Some of my son's classmates were admitted by private and DSS primary school even though they are only 5 yrs 7month in coming Sept.

Most international schools and private schools do take 5-year-old kids.  My daughter was 5 years and 4 months old when she started P1 in a private school.

Totally agree with Charlotte_mom. Also, I do not support "母語教學". Besides, I afraid that the educational policy will keep changing rapidly whenever there are changes in government officials. Those government/ subsidized schools will have no alternatives but to follow the new policy strictly.
