都係科大醒目，由第一屆開始，已將 M1 or M2 獨立成科計算。

正確!
幾年前曾經訪問過教局數學科高官，M1&M2 不當一科elective 不利本地數理科研發展，點解個政策係咁？
佢話當初有力爭但失敗，因為DSE設計為考生最可讀中英數通4核心+3科electives(學術科)+1科非學術科(視藝、音樂、外語)，如M1&M2 當一科elective，理科生選了M1/M2就不能全選Phy.Chem.Bio，所以M1&M2 未能在DSE層面獨立當一科計，只能靠大學收生時調節。

當你 M1 or M2 考得好過其他科時，科大由第一屆已經可以用黎作獨立一科計分啦！
其他學院只係 "required" 而不可以用黎計分嫁。

會唔會誤會咗UCAS核心及延伸各計計半科？不過人地核心是計半科。
