I am not the user of it, my son did the comparison. Just quick check with him, his comment as follow:

As an eBook reader alone, he said Kindle is the best in terms of function and value for money.

For a tablet, he thought iPad is a bit bulky and heavy. iPad mini is much lighter and inherit some unique features from iPad. Nexus 7 is the flagship from Google, better support of Android, also you can do some customisation that iPad doesn't allow you to do. He enjoys the customisation process. Moreover, it's value for money and no need to bring MacBook Air to the classroom and library.

It's more his personal preference.

I am an iPad user.

英文書用Kindle Paperwhite。也可用作看中文書，但有些格式不支援，找好的中文書較麻煩。

中文書和漫畫用中國品牌Onyx C65系列。Onyx是行Android可發聲的E-ink Reader。也可用作看英文書，可播audio books。

iPad則用作看彩色書和Kindle edition with audio/video，即聲畫電子書。只有iPhone，iPad和Kindle Fire系列可看Amazon的聲畫電子書。

那種對眼睛好一點，其實有不同的意見。要有權威的研究才能有定論。

thank you。小女的 macbook pro 用了多年，是時候退役。她說很多同學已轉了帶 ipad 上學，因為貪輕便，但因為她現在的學校主要 support apple 產品，因此全校都是用 apple 。下年她入大學，不用再跟大隊用 apple ，因此想聽聽其他用家意見。我自己用 ipad，覺得好用，但 apple 產品的確少了 android 的 flexibility。我會將意見轉給她。

ChiChiPaPa 是資深用家，分析好。 ANChan 囝囝反映一般年青人用機心態，要各方面使用方便，設定開放。

喜歡閱讀的人，每天閱讀多於一小時，在室外或海灘強光下，e-ink reader 是好選擇。 Kindle Paperwhite 我多用作臨睡前閱讀中文書，缺點是閃屏丶系統慢和不能發聲。英文書我多用 iPad 或 Android 系統，能發音，及各類字典支援多，有不同優良閱讀程式選擇。 Android 電子書導入容易，放入單一或分類資料夾，一點選就可揀用不同已裝置程式閱讀。蘋果較麻煩封閉，但我覺中英朗讀方面比 Andriod 優勝。

首先你細仔幾大，用手機通常讀那類書，用 android 亦或 iphone 手機， 3吋多 mon 又 ...

細仔讀緊f.3....手機用 android, 通常睇既書系新作家,新書....佢久不久就用儲起d零用錢去書局買本新書睇, 佢話圖書館d書唔岩佢睇(超級歪論) , 真系似足你講既"乜嘢都要快的青少年。"

原來有甘多款閱讀程式....佢用緊咩閱讀程式我真系唔知道, 好似叫佢今日幫我download左聽歌apps, 我用左有問題隔幾日問佢,佢已經轉左另一款聽歌apps......

蘋果較麻煩封閉，我勁認同所以完全唔考慮, 我相信蘋果遲早行番舊時蘋果電腦條死路.........

睇來好似e-ink reader 是好選擇。

I have iPad 3, mini one (sold), nexus 7, kindle paper white. Kindle could avoid distractions from reading that is why I love it. Nexus 7 cannot use edu kingdom ;) A lot of other software I used it doesn't support. iPad 3 too heavy. Extra grams in mini two does matter although it has a better screen. Don't get kindle lite as it is not convenient for low light. These are just my two cents.

蘋果唔係咁封閉，就唔會有 iTunes Store, App Store, iPod, iPhone, iPad, MacBook 等的成功。蘋果唔係咁封閉，就會變成另一 android, 啥無特別。

我昨晚問佢, 佢都系好似習慣左 Android 手機睇, 不過我都覺得買部 Kindle 比佢試下,起碼點睇對佢對眼都冇甘"傷"。

蘋果的封閉, 就是它的優點。較安全和程式檢定較高, 用家少了很多設定上的煩擾。Android 又要防毒, 很多程式背後運作, 不少通知, 耗電不少, 一陣又話你唔夠 ram, 又要不時清理垃圾, 有時又警告你下載程式有問題危險。不過管理檔案開放, 增潻刪除備份搬移檔案容易, 識設定和控制的較喜用。

Android 有個程式叫“藍色光瀘波器“, 開關容易, 在閱讀時開啟, 有減光養眼作用, 可叫你囝囝裝上試下。
