May I know why your child at that moment replied you like this?
I am still learning, learning to deal with my son, he is at P.2 now.  Actually, I really buy your concept --> to let him free, but I need time to adjust.
Please share : my son had passed the piano exam of Grade 2 in Aug. He is learning Grade 3 now. The teacher asked he to practise 45 min daily, he don't want to practise such a long time. Shall I let him quit due to his impatience to practise? I am still thinking ....

似乎不是45分鐘的問題，他可能覺得練習了 20 分鐘已
能乎合老師的要求呢!...why 45 mins?

Dear wings230,

Also because of "懶懶閒", the teacher found that he could perform better and quicker, so asked him not to practise just one to two times per songs (previously he practised each song one to two times, so it could be finished in 15 min) but to play more smooth and accurate. He hated practising repeatedly.

Maybe I will give up and not him. I don't want to ask him to practise songs daily.

懶懶閒<------他不喜重複單調，沒挑戰性的工作?
Or maybe playing piano is not his interest and just
just  to follow ur advice only.
My son did learn playing piano b4....but for a few days only...haha! and i didn't push him at all...
Now....he has been practising Jass drum for over
3 years and performing well.....or maybe my DNA
activated...haha....I like Rock N roll so much.

Just now, the first time to go through the program 春 風 伴 我 行 － 家 校 篇.

I found my son was nearly the same as the boy therein. Really, the primary syllabus is too easy for him the handle (even with high marks), but if he get such habit (not to revise his work), what he will be.

I am so lost, because I see what I will be .... (the parents in the program).

是否人無遠慮，必有近憂?...or 杞人憂天?
Who can tell tomorrow..? It is a long long way to go,
since he is in P.2 only and performing well, the only problem is he is not behaving up to ur requirement...
i think u are too sensitive bah.....relax~~~
