英國中學不看中文的，給英國中學成績表時，一定是英文成績表，沒有的話叫學校再做一張英文成績表。
當我們收到學校可以給女兒考試了，我們再在那十多間中學挑選，因為每間中學的考試費用都不同，由50到200磅不等，主要考數學及英文(Comprehension、write及Grammar)。
考試地點大部分是寄到留學顧問那裏考，有的會寄到學生讀的中學。

另亦有考 Verbal Reasoning 及 Non Verbal Reasoning, 有些學校亦會考 Science.

好像是升讀f4/f5及as要考Science.Verbal Reasoning ，入讀第10班(f3)，大部分中學只考英文及數學，當然也會有中學要求考。
小女Application的中學只需考英文，數學。

大部份高 ranking 的學校 Year 9 (F3) 已經考 science, 還要是分開 physics, chemistry & biology 來考。而一些如 Winchester, Eton & Wycombe Abbey 更要考 humanities 㚳歷史及地理。
Verbal & non-verbal reasoning 則是考低年級如 Year 7 (F1) 才考。

正如Peter pan所說，我識所有朋友考Yr 9私校個個都要考science，有些更分三份卷。

至於Yr 12, 小兒考過其中2間就只有面試，沒有筆試，但見咗成一個鍾，其中一間只需睇學校校長的report沒有面試沒有筆試便收了，不過是官校。

we are looking at 4 schools for Year 10 next year, 2 only test Math and English, 1 test Science also, 1 test verbal reasoning also.

They are Oundle School and Sevenoaks School.

我阿大當年都有考Oundle, 收了結果都放棄了，Oundle校舍幾舊，但Science設施數一數二，是一間很好的男女校。
