can agree more.  Congrat to those who have made up their mind to join TN group.

If you have decided to join TN next year, please start go to their website and see how their homework be like.  The school post up homework list everyday after 4:30.  

That's what I have done during the summer holiday to prep my girl for TN.  Schedule daily homework for your kid.  I bought all the exercise books listed on the booklist and assign my girl to do some on the daily basis.  She almost finished all the exercises for the first semester during summer.  Prep them with the format of dictation.  Do this at home on an alternative basis.  Please have your kid to familiar with numbers 1-20, colors, transportation etc.  For english, try to go through materials for P1 during the summer time.  The school will use only 1.5 months to go through them and will proceed to P2 content afterwards.  Spelling of words is a must.  However, don't worry too much.  Make sure your kid understand the basic rules and usage of articles and prepositions, they should have no problem.

即是暑假時操多d, 串字, 默寫, 做下練習咁, 到小一上學期就會易d適應. 其實, 由幼稚園轉到小一, 對小朋友來說真係須要一段時間去適應, 摸索
如果上學期順利過度, 估計小女應該可以適應到. 我唔係太想阿女一放學就衝入補習社, 機械式學習
如學校有好的學習風氣, 相信對小朋友是好的影響, 始終朋輩的影響力都幾大

I think the most important thing is don't get them frightened to the amount of homework from school.  Get them practice the pattern during holiday so they get this as routine.  I understand some parents may not agree with the too many copy and write homework.  To me, you would not familiar with the word if you don't write them out.  For kid in P1 you may be suprised they could copy the word wrongly even with the words provided during text or exam.  Especially for Chinese words.  

If possible, teach your kid to write word in a neat and tidy way,  Teachers in TN are all very strict on writing.  You will not get 100 on dictation if you don't write the word in neat and tidy manner.  They even count how you put all the strokes together.  My girl's classmate got call once/twice a week from the class teacher to tell her parents to work hard on her penmanship.

我今日（周二）交錢時的收據號碼是121204109，如沒理解錯，即是話我是12年12月4日第109個交錢，之前有流言指德雅濫收，但照咁睇，就算可能有人放棄交留位費，但也不至於啲人所說in親都收吖！

我果張係121203481，所以你估果個109似乎吾成立。但121203 or 121204 都應該似係曰期。
