我同意部份心水清家長的看法，要在小四或小五開始部署，到小六可以做的太少了。

你千其唔好刪呀, 會有好多人錯過, 以致小朋友錯過了選擇的機會. 有用的資料係有深遠的影響的.
有心又有料的人不多, 有心有料又肯無私分享的人少之又少.
我能在較短的時間裏作出決定, 皆因你的詳細資料, 無論將來如何, 在此一役, 我和家中各人都心存感激.

多謝分享，希望有心人能細閱並領略箇中真正含義。阿女去年報中學時，也有幾間女子中學要求小四成績，所以準備升中，絕對不是由小五才“谷”的。

我以自己經歷作為例子，唔知算唔算補充

1. 在阿女升五年級的暑假時，我們一家先開家庭會議，內容要大家清楚未來兩年的行事曆，例如：何時準備及考呈分試、大家的期望及目標、放長假的安排及各人的分工及責任等等。

2. 我以khmama的全港中學排名名單作主要參考，shortlist不多於十間津貼或直資中學（選擇條件主要係banding及地點）。

3. 對這些中學進行資料搜集，例如：參考學校網頁、關於學校的新聞（會特別留意有校長、學生或家長的訪問）、網上資料及EK爸媽的意見，心目中大概知道那間學校比較適合阿女。

4. 經過一輪資料參閱後，其實覺得適合阿女的學校大概有五、六間，然後會留意這些學校網頁的升中資訊及下載中一入學申請表以作參考（我這時才知道有些學校要看小四成績）。

5. 到阿女小六時，我、c6及阿女會盡量一起參加學校簡介會或開放日，c6一定會找機會跟學生交談，因為在學生口中可以更了解學校情況及生活。在這之後，目標學校就會少於兩至三間。

6. 大家再開家庭會議，作出直資及自行派位選擇，這時我會再在“中學交流”的論壇裡問EK爸媽拿些意見、升中交表及面試要留意的地方（我去年都問過你提到的幾位媽媽

）。

以上是幫阿女及學校作配對的準備，當中其實還有無數次在晚上跟c6既討論及反覆考慮。我好怕睇數字，所以太過仔細的分析通常會發給c6消化。
