你試下順住佢喜好去教，例如佢鐘意玩車，就買吾同顏色既車，教佢邊架車係咩色！佢鐘意食餅，就買字母餅囉，一路食一路學！同佢玩捉迷藏，要數十下先開始搵！甘又順便教埋一至十！玩下玩下就識！有陣時你越心急越吾識！我個仔顏色我教左佢起碼四五個月佢先識

On average, a child can recognize colors and shape when he is 2.  If you're worried about the learning progress of your child, you should better go for an assessment asap as it is the best time for follow-up when the child is under 3.

我囡囡好細個都認到顏色, 分大小... 因為佢愛玩煮飯仔, 所以我哋俾佢玩不同colours 的 plastic spoons, plates 等 宜家都有得賣, 我哋會同佢一齊玩, 我同佢講, 爸爸想買紅色xx, 媽媽想要黃色xx, 但唔好中英文一齊教, 因為會好confuse, 我覺得英文易啲, 因為中交全部都係x色x色; 數目同數數好唔同, 認到字唔等同明日, 好像玩煮飯仔, 有時會加埋囡囡的公仔朋友一齊玩, 咁可以同佢數吓有幾多個朋友,  要幾多隻碟, 公仔又可以有大有小, 排好晒, 分食物, 餐具等都可以由大到細, 咁比用書, 冇咁抽象; 如果愛玩車, 就買唔同colours, size ... 原理都是一樣, 我囡愛thomas series, 咁買多幾架唔同英文字頭的, 教佢認, 你會發現, 佢哋會學得快好多

Is it a boy or girl?  Boy is usually slower.
Also, may be your teaching method is not appeallling.  Try to use some more attractive way to teach.  What does your kid like?  Try to relate them to what he / she likes then teach.  Don't worry too much, try all the ways first and don't be too pushy!

If you want to teach your child about colours, you can try to give him all toys with same colour for few days (and don't give him toys with other colours at the same time).  For shapes, try to use some blocks (better made of wood without any painting on it) and let him touch and feel different shapes.  same approach can be applied to alphabets and numbers.  For toddlers, it is essential to use materials that they can touch and feel rather than visual learning.

我仔二歲幾先認顏色...黑白..去到近3歲先唔會講錯..
我覺得係男仔學野慢..但怕就去做個評估買安心..

我個仔都對認顏色有困難，其實男孩子是慢d，他都認不到a-z，其實不用急，上學就會識。我個仔2歲7個月啦！
