Re: 荃灣區幼兒園

Dear mommys,

My bb will be 2 years old in Feb next year.  I heard that Tsuen Wan Salvation Nursery School is a good nursery.  I want to apply for my bb.  Is it too late to apply now?  Heard that some mommys applied it when their bb just born.  Please advise.  Thanks!

Hi vhunghk,

MY boy will study this school next Sept.
He will be 3 yrs old  in coming Feb.
I apply this school when he is 10 months old!!!!!

So I think it is really late!  You can phone to the school to question them !

vhunghk,

It's real late!!  I have the same case as you.  Finally, my son cannot join this school.   They offer me a seat at Pak Tin Salvation Army's nursery for one year (N1), then I can have a priority to have a seat when my BB to be in N2.  Since, I feel a bit uncomfortable of this offer, we have to find another nursery.

I heard that the one in Tai Wo Hau has vacancy lately.  If you live in Tsuen Wan, you may try this one.  The school building is a bit old compare with Tsuen Wan, but they have the same teaching material & method, all things are the same except the "building".

Re: 荃灣區幼兒園

My daughter is studying the N1 class in Tai Wo Hau Nursery since Nov.04.  I also applied for the Tsuen Wan Nursery when she was 1 year old and yet we haven't received any news.  Some BK Moms said that the TWHN is not as good as the TWN.  May be that is true because the TWN has a long queue.
I accompanied my daughter to school when she joined the nursuery class the first month and I felt that the teachers and the staff are very nice.  The teachers always kept me informed of her progress.  My daughter adapted the full day school after 2 weeks.  She can sleep after lunch in school without crying.  Also her oral skills have been improved a lot.  So if TWHN has place for your child, it's worthy to enrol.

Re: 荃灣區幼兒園

積琪蓮,

My niece also studying in Salvation Army Tai Wo Hau Nursery.  My sister-in-law also said that it is good.  She told me that comparing the school premises, Tsuen Wan is real nice, so people want to enrol in Tsuen Wan.   Therefore, if Tsuen Wan has no vacancy, Tai Wo Hau is a good choice in which parent likes the teaching method of Salvation Army.
