I also vote for applying for more like 15 is reasonable. For sure will only apply those considering location is acceptable. With the intense competition, luck really plays a big role. So why limit yourself or your baby the chance to try.
My girl was the other way round re her interview performance. She did not do well in the first few and got reject/waiting. But performed better and better in subsequent interviews. Since we got a few offers in the middle, we could skip some interviews of some less desired schools. In fact, my girl enjoyed going to interview very much and treated it just like an activity/playgroup. How the parents treat the interviews really matters. It will definitely be a tiring exercise but I had tried to treat it as an experience and it turns out to be really enjoyable especially when I can see my child continue to improve or learn new things after each interview. Don't care about other's view is really my last personal view. Good luck and may you have a good experience too |
