因為全校得200 人, 約100人寄宿會否好細. 同時學校half term 比學生留低.
是否有人照顧, 做些什麼? 請問寄宿環境如何? 設備是否很舊.
天氣如何? 最好清靜 郊野D?學習氣氛濃厚?

本土生與國際生的比例約多小?是否很多中國生?

Hello Cathy, 我儿子现在读 Yr 9, 9 月升Yr 10，可能跟你的儿子同班。 我也没有带儿子去开学，主要看你儿子想不想你带他去。如果他不需要你的陪伴，你可以让他试试。 9/9 学校有人在机场接学生。如果需要，我可以把我儿子的航班告诉你，你可以订同一个航班，他们可以有照应。

There are no direct flights to Manchester. Students can transit in London, Amsterdam (if taking KLM), Frankfurt/Munich (if taking LH), etc.

Dear waiching1962.  Thanks for the reference.  As I am also prepared to send my daughter to Ruthin for sixth form this Sept.  Really want to know more about the school.  I note that the school's A Level results have been rising rapidly in the past few years and the University Destination is also very impressive so I am quite confident in its academic side.  Yet I would like to know how's the school life and boarding life.  I am more concern whether there are good opportunity for my daughter to social and comunicate with the local students in English as there seems to be more and more Chinese enrolled the school and board there (I trust that those Students from China possess good standard of English just wonder if majority boarders in the house are Chinese would naturally communicate in mother tounge).  Secondly, any problems of discrimination/bullying? ( I understand that these kind of problems exsit everywhere just wanna know if it is serious or not and the school's attitude towards these problems).

Also would like to take this opportunity to say HI to all Ruthin's parents here.  Hope that we could meet in the near future.
