Does anyone know "Luk Chan" Learning Centre? It seems quite a lot Int'l school students go there. They charge four hundred something per lesson for 1.5 hr, it's even more expensive than hire a private tutor, can anyone pls share what's good for them?
My daughter hates private tuitoring too. In fact she learns a lot from her peer friends who studies at local schools. Also, she enjoys Cantonese jokes and rhymes. Perhaps the reason is she's the only child at home that she won't miss any chance to have interaction with buddies.
In my case, because both my kids take lesson, so they don't mind company. They take other classes outside where they have interaction with kids from local school, so in that respect, they are OK - not so disconnected with the real word.
