Lat year CKy did use work sheet to test children English and math ability, I am not sure about this year. No matter what, we don't know how the school choose student. If you really like CKY, try to show it to the school.
The interview of CKY this year focuses a lot on academic (Chi, Eng, Maths). Playing in a group and initiative in answering questions are still part of it, but not all. So the selection is quite comprehensive. Those who are not very active but strong in academic can get a chance too. (Just my guess.)
Don't worry, DiamondHill. I think if your daughter is so smart in English (able to read Harry Potter at K3), she can perform very well in many schools. And she may also apply for P2 from many elite schools. By the way, do you mind sharing which school she is now studying in?
Yes, the number of students who got offer from WKF is really amazing. Given that WKF only has one interview for student (and one for parent) and so only limited time to assess the ability of applicants, I guess the reputation and standard of LH helps a lot.
