做唔做大仔好??

撇除可唔可以讀到名校呢筆, 細仔呢, 除非佢能力可以拍得住年頭大仔, 佢响幼稚園直至小學階段, 响學習能力方面, 多數遜色於大部份同學仔, 唔係因為佢蠢, 而係佢腦細胞未開發到果個階段. 呢樣野引發既問題係, 佢會漸漸缺乏自信心, 覺得自己無用, 人一無左自信心, 好多野, 包括我地最緊張既學習進度會受影響. 呢個反而係我最關注既問題. 我個小朋友都係10月出世, 佢讀緊K1, 今年再比佢考半龍校, 好好彩比佢考到2間, 我老豆都好反對我要佢粒孫重讀K1, 話做咩咁細個比佢repeat, 話幼稚園做咩要重讀, side時間, 佢又唔係讀唔上. 我同佢講我唔係睇宜家, 我係睇 future. 呢個決定可能會影响佢一生既學習. 再講, 如果要佢小學先repeat到時佢心裡仲難受.

我都有比親戚話點解要讀多一年，越快越完越好，我諗佢係以家庭的經濟角度來看，但就忽略小朋友的信心能力，其實讀多年的話，話唔定佢第日的成就會好啲呢！

其實真係好睇小朋友本身, 冇話repeat一定好/唔好, 我妹妹係11月細囡, 真係到p2/p3突然一支箭咁跑出來, 仲大學畢業添. ,不過佢之前就考最後10名 ... 所以佢好反對做細囡 ... 覺得浪費時間喎
而細佬係大仔, 讀書唔得, repeat咗幾次都係唔得 ...

所以, 最大問題係家長怕唔怕repeat咗都考唔到好的小學, 因為真係一年比一年難, 遲一年又多啲人爭; 但如果真係只為打好基礎, 咁當然repeat會好啲la

my son also Aug 10 bb, and i am also think apply K1 for 2013-14...since thre is no K1 accept him unitl now, seems big baby is really better... my family are all against me... but i think bulid up confidence is very important

8月b 唔可以repeat ne ... (only 9 - 12 bb can) otherwise, you willl lose the marks to apply primary school

Read the discussion..i agree do not repeat unless you have no choice.

If i got offer, i wont let him repeat......

What's more is, most famous KG won't even accept your application if you are born in Aug 09, apply for 13/14.  死心吧

其實仲有好多唔出名的kg 有pm 位, 所以都一定有書讀嘅

The number of small B student is quite a lot. 幼稚園 K1開生日會時,你就知其實好多所謂名校都收左好多Small B.

i know many kids of my friends are super small B, born in Oct-Dec 09. But they all have got famous kindergarten's AM offer, even some of the kindergarten are thru train school eg. True Light, St. Clare, Precious Blood, LL, Kau Yan . (I know only Pui Ching Kindergarten do not accept samll B. These kind of statement shows in Pui Ching Kindergarten's applicaiton form)

I don't think being a small B is an big issue. The teachers usually according to the kid's age to test them during the interview. 唔通每年10月到12月,幼稚園唔攪生日會?

by reading all your comments, i think i should spend more time with my baby and teach him. This should be the most important thing.

我想話, 如果考到Thru Train School值得repeat K1. Otherwise, 浪費時間。

Littleroundface, 你想小朋友讀local school定IS？抑或兩邊都ok？
你小朋友有offer未？
小朋友今年in得不滿意，是坐吳定？吳出聲？定係其他原因，你檢討吓原因，跟住幫他慢慢改進。K2可以考插班，很多好學校都可以試。不要失望，小朋友去到3歲左右會突飛猛進，努力會看到成果。
