For P.1, you won't know until school year start.  You just order the PE uniform and the vendor will deliver the right one to your child in the first 1-2 week

That means she have to wear school dress only in first 2 weeks until PE T-shirts available, oh, I bought one dress for her only! How can it last for a whole week under hot weather......

Maybe, you can buy one more set.  From the experience of my eldest son last year, my kid wore PE uniform four days a week after first two weeks.  

Therefore, I bought 3 sets of PE uniform and 2 sets of school uniform for my younger son who will study in this coming September and he comes from KV.

hello, nice to meet you.
I found the girl school dress has double layer and might be very hot during the hot weather.
I thought (seen from the forum) that school dress was not frequently wear so I bought one piece only.. ha ha.
That's fine and I can solve the problem.

we went to SMC today and can't get any school uniform or school shoes yet. They asked us to wait till 1/8.

Did you turn up at 2/7, most of parents including me had bought school dress, PE pants, sports shoes and white cardigan with stocks in hand. School shoes were asked to pick up at 27/8 and PE T-shirts and grey cardigan were asked to be collected by students themselves at school after 1/9. So if you don't make any fitting or order before, you'd better ask the provider to buy at ? their shops.

we didn't go to SMC on 9/7 because we were not in HK. That was why I was worried.

I did turn up to SMC on 9/7, but i only bought 1 set each.  at that time, it is very hot and my girl lost her patience to try so many thing. i think i should buy one more set for changing.

for the dress, it is so hot with 2 layer, my girl is afraid hot so much perhaps i will not put undershirt for her.
for the P.E. short, the material is so thick, my god!

Do u think so?

right, no need of under dress for girls but she need short pants when dressing in school dress instead. I told my daughter to keep her manner as well as she will have "boy" classmates.

I suppose the girl need to wear "underdress" for the summer uniform? My daughter can't stand for hot weather as well... then was it a mistake to buy the cardigan for her so soon??!
Don't worry, Miss_N, my daughter is very boyish and she likes playing with boys more. Your daughter must be much nicer. hehe

I think the material of the P.E. short is too thick and too long ( M size ) , they might feel hot.
I will make it shorter.... as S size is a litte bit tight but M size is too long

it is much easier to make the waist wider instead of making the skirt short.

i also met this problem. what i did is to buy S size, cut a little bit on the inner waist, cut the elastic band and connect a short elastic band, then sew back the hole of the inner. then my girl wears nicely.

p.s. the short elastic band is from the old trouser,  no  need to buy, it is very easy as i always did that for my daughter's trousers.

- 書部費尾數幾多? 8月1日用咩形式找數?cash or cheque?
- 听李副校長講, 第一個星期係適應周, 只係返上午, 學校有無信通知返放學時間? 上課時間表?

我怕我miss 左 or overlooked.

我今日問咗學校書簿嘅尾數，每人不同，我書簿全買成$1541.7 T.T，可以俾小朋友嗰名佢check，可以pay by cash or 支票，當日0900-1700時都可以到學校，亦會派書，可能會派一啲9/7訂咗而未有嘅校服如校鞋(我唔肯定)，27/8就會有subject briefing, 之前會收信通知。希望資料對各位有用！

Before I thought we should go to collect the books and uniform from 9-2pm. Thanks for telling us the updated info!

I guess the book would be for the first term only??
