I called PLK yesterday and they confirmed that there should be two teachers in each room to perform the interview and one teacher interviews the parent and the other should group the children and interview/observe the children's behavior on the side.

Was your interview conducting in this way?

Yes,

The chinese teacher ask my child to play shape matching. And my child did all and then drawing picture on the flipchart.
The English teacher ask me questions. Only I replied the english teacher due to other two appliant's parents quite scare and shame to answer. But one of the parents emphasize her elder child was graduate from their school.
Feel very unfair lah.

My group also has parents to emphasize her elder child was graduated from their school and the interviewer has started to discuss which boy is her son.  I am also unhappy with this.

Room 3, the teachers are also very nice.  But I think it is unsuitable for them to discuss the old boy in the interview.  The other parents got unpleasant feelings.  I think the interview must only concern the interviewee.

剛剛看到有些媽咪收到譚歐陽少芳的拒絕信，我也想分享少少。我也於昨晚收到信，初時有些不開心，但再想，也未必是壞事，起碼少一個選擇，少一個煩惱、是否很消極？我從來沒有留意此幼稚園，身邊也沒有朋友送子女去讀，直至最近上網看到家長的評價，才留意此幼稚園，也就試試，讓女兒報名。

不過看過此校的書信、報名表格、問卷及網頁後，再加上面試的安排，實在對她的印象大打折扣。整體上英文不好，甚至意思錯誤！雖然這些未必可以代表師資，但也令我懷疑小朋友所學的英文會是怎樣，港式英文?

先說說要家長填的Questionnaire:
我記不起正式的字眼，但Survey一開始說想知道家長的”Point of View for reference purposes”而問題竟然是1) How did you learn about our school, 2) Do you know the nature of our school…這些並不是Point of View，不是看法或意見，而且nature of our school 意思指甚

My son got offers from Creative (Oxford Rd) and SC but not TAYSF.

I share JT's opinion.  I apply for TAYSF because it is within walking distance from my home.  But lately I am very disappointed to find out that the neighbourhood becomes a shop dedicated to 自由行.  Lots of coaches and tourists hang around the school and it is very annoying.

other parent told me that their reject letter is very simple and strict. As you know that even University did not send this type of strict letter to the applicant and they wanted to give good impression to the public.

JT, yes it's disappointing, isn't it? the way the reject letter was written. I threw away the reject letter already but I remember it says something like,"Dear parents, I am sorry to inform you that the application of your child...is unsuccessful.  Thank you for your kind support to our school."  That's all.

And I remember reading this: "You will be notified by mail together with the interview permit" in a note they sent which puzzled me.  How can they notify me together with the permit?  This is strange English.

Yes. The English teacher interviewed the 3 parents while the Chinese teacher observed the 3 children.  I was in Room 4.  The English teacher is Chinese with a Canadian/American accent.

Thank you so much for your kind comfort and sincere advice. I got the offer from SC PM. I have decieded to go SC. I don't want to say anything bad about this school as many parents have pointed out the good and bad here. This massege is just to express my thankness to all of you. Same Good Luck to you. If your baby also goes to SC, pls let me know and share our experience. I really feel very very warm in this chat room in these few days.
