My daughter is studying S1.  She's not from the Preparatory School.  Yet, she can manage her study quite well.  I have made allowances for her coz she is a regular boarder.

The teachers are caring.  My daughter loves them very much.

1. 寄宿生入住二人或六人房，是自由選擇、抽簽或分年级？六人房會嘈吵嗎？
2. 除學費和宿費外(不計遊學)
，其它的校內活動(如樂器班)收費如何？

Return agreement and also give the student record form to the school.  I called the school office and they say Sat before 12:00pm is OK.

This is a very good school but despite the 100% scholarship given to my daughter, most likely she won't join, she wants to enter another school more....I have to respect her own wish.

Did you apply for the scholarship or the school offered by itself?

No need to apply, they offer this in the acceptance letter.

I like this school very much.  We will have a family meeting tonight to discuss about accepting or not.  I will try to influence my daughter.

收到取錄信，想問一下，留位費可不可以交期票，例如四月中才過數？資料表交了後可不可以取回？因為仲想等埋一兩間直資放榜才決定。

May I know what kind of ECA does the school offer? And is the fee reasonable?

Try to answer you guys' questions as far as I know:
1. There're 4 dormitories.  North House is for girls only whereas Martin Hostel is for boys only.  West Wing and East Wing - may change each year.  A new dormitory will be completed by this summer.
2. The students will be allocated to the said dormitories which have rooms of different sizes.  Cannot change normally.
3. Strict house rules - see the school's website.  Need to remain silence during preparatory sessions and after light out.
4. Most of the ECAs are not expensive.  For music class, may be slightly more expensive.
5. Different kinds of ECAs are available.  Some are quite special e.g. cricket.  The students are required to join not more than 2 and not less than 1 ECA.
6. You can't pay post-dated cheque.  They will bank in your cheque shortly after you've completed the formalities in April.

Of course you can get your kid's student record form even though you have completed the formalities in April.  The only consideration is $ (1 month's school fee).

Hi all,
I'm new here, just joined.
We've rec'd the acceptance letter early this week. I didn't know if we've made a right dsn as we've withdrawn the school place in HKUGA which we've accepted earlier.  We registered at SSC yesterday.  
My auntie has kept on saying SSC's ranking is very low.  HKUGA is much much better.....   Any comments?
