My son is study in SJC.
我都未决定，多數都係考直資or私校，兩個姊姊讀女校，九龍塘官立就有分，但我唔想。
講揀學校真係一匹布咁長，激死。
細女當年是必收生入St.Rose.點知去到見到老師交表，佢哋話0分，因中學當年搬，不過老師叫我照交表，其實應該入得嘅，但當時嬲得制，咪考第間囉，而家果間都好好。
而家我唸住揀男校。

Phoebe_mmma,  which subject do you think is the most difficult ?  For my daughter I will say is  Chinese,  but all the other moms that I talked to on Oct's Parent's Day are disagree - English.     I feel is just the opposite - English is the most easy one.

My son is in Tak Sun, there I met many moms from St Rose.    I don't like Tak Sun 1/2 day primary school & shift, so probably will not select this one.  Kowloon Tong Government's not bad.

Your 2nd daughter even not absolutely can get a seat,  but still should get 10 points for elder sister graduate there  !!?

我而家唔係咁擔心二女升中問題，佢現在讀得好好。
But 係唸緊亞仔的小學問題。我希望佢讀天主教學校，最好係男校，德信我亦曾經唸過、了解過，我唔介意全日或半日，但有些老師朋友說唔係咁好，所以惟有靠佢自己考啦。
其實上年我本可以解決此問題的，但我不想囉。

I also prefer Catholic boy school for my son.   Below are severals that I am considering :

Tak Sun
Chan Sui Kei
Maryknoll Father
La Salle

Have known Tak Sun long time since I am a teenager,  having been thinking of choosing this as 'safe net'.   This year 15 points may get a seat there.      

For private school,  I will try St Francis.

For this year, if you have 15 points, you have a high chance to get in Chan Sui Ki or Maryknoll Father.

My son is now studying in Chan Sui Ki, the school is quite good, and the new campus will be available in 2006, which change the school to whole day school.

Thanks for your comment.  My girl is studing K1 in St. Rose.  I feel more confident in this school after your comments.

Also I found the teachers and headmaster are very good to the children in kinder. :

La Salle is definitely the 1st choice of most of the parents, so am I.   But the chance of getting in is a matter of fact... so low,  thus I am more tend to choose between Chan Siu Ki & Maryknoll Father.
And Tak Sun for back up.

Why you prefer Maryknoll Father to Chan Siu Ki ?
Please advise.

Does the Chan Siu Ki new campus still in net 36 ? And where is their secondary school ? Ho Man Tin ?
My home is far from net 36.      

Maryknoll Father in Yau Yat Chuen is very uneasy to get there.  Does the secondary school is the one in Kwun Tong ?

For dictation, I think the subject "English" is difficult for my daughter because she is quite week in "English".

For exam, I think the subject is "Chinese" because it cover a lot of area, i.e. reading, restructure the sentense, not like the subject of "English", if the student review the content of exam area and task paper, it think it is well prepare, however, for the subject of "Chinses" most of them is not under the area of the text book.

How about Bible, did you know what the student should prepare for exam?  I asked my daughter to remember some key words in the "金句", how about your daughter?

我個女默書英文較好, 一般只係錯 大細草, 標點, 同埋大頭蝦聽錯, 例如:  
默: How are you ?  我女默咗  Who are you ?
..   Close the window............Open the window
..   Happy birthday to Kitty....Happy birthday to you  
比佢激死,  今次100分就係英默,  每次佢有90分以上

但係中默就成日錯筆劃, 個字唔比例都會當錯, 老師又唔話錯係边?  個女問我錯係边, 我都要研究, 問吓d friend.  有d同學父母咪反映好難了解老師的要求,  寫極都錯.而家老師 就解釋比小朋友知佢哋嘅通病,  所以錯少咗.  中文始终難寫d.  我個女上星期默書, 漏了全句課題.

我女對中文嘅作文, 閱讀理解比較差.  佢不懂轉彎.  寧願死讀書.  你講得啱, 中文覆慨範圍大, 所以佢最怕中文.  小朋友真係個個性格有異, 長短處不同.   叫佢背書, 串字, 念乘數表反而唔勞氣.

聖經金句冇温過,  其實過咗的weekend乜都冇溫習.  考試前一日仲家有喜事, 全屋人到齊又嘈, 又要去飲到好夜. 我諗個女合格都願啦 !

Chan Sui Ki new campus - the same as old campus is in Net 34, Not 36 - it is in Net Kowloon City when choose secondary school. Actually, the new campus is just next to the old campus (less than 5 mins walk).

The location of the secondary school campus for Maryknoll Father is the same as the primary school campus in Yau Yat Chuen.  However, I know that the primary school will move to a new campus in 2007.
