聽講~ 20分入maryknoll無乜機, 你最好去小一嗰邊check check..
但係holy family就必入, 呢間都幾好架!
點取捨~ 真係要你兩公婆傾吓先知~

are you old girl of HFCS? I know many old girls of Maryknoll will have 25 pts, 20 pts is risky honestly, but 25 pts to HFCS is safe.

on the other hand, I don't think any kgs will post how their students get in (by point, lucky draw, own ability or relations...) they may not even know it. LS is different as the founder of KM was the supervisor/principal there, so many old boys pick KM, that's why the % to LS is high.

I'm also old girl of HFCS, but I've choosen another school instead of it.

haha, what a coincidence that I also stayed in Canada before but my girl wasn't born there. shel is now attending Good Hope, I'll let her stay in Good Hope if she can get a seat for P1 and try out few schools by lucky draw. i've learnt that HFCS is much better than our time, if you don't have any thru-train school/DSS/private schools on hand, given that it's really competitive for the year 2009, personally would suggest you to go for HFCS first to play safe.

speaking English ONLY is definitely NOT an advantage for Sacred Heart, not sure for St. Paul, my friend's girl is a really smart and cute one, but she speaks English only, so even my friend is an old girl of SH and they are Catholic, the girl was only on waiting list. you may want to re-consider for the path of your girl if you want her to go to local school or IS if English is the first language in your family.

just sit back and relax! she's only 1.5 years old now, there's still a long path to go. apply both HKPS and KM and they are all hard to get in, even your little one can't get a seat, there are still many good schools. PN is definitely not an indicator for branded schools.

我女係中英班, 兩位老師冇記錯都係在校超過兩年, 英文班主任係美藉, 不過我較深刻印象反而係見到d k3學生哥, 佢地普通話非常流利, 所以我心目中覺得hkps(kt)d英普班好強. ...

唔知係我好彩定有d家長唔好彩，so far我仔仔讀左hkps 年幾 (playgroup到依家k1)，我一d都唔覺學校admin亂，相信講亂ge只係個別事件~

Angine, 我係hkps新手媽咪, 你可以去專區有多d經驗國際班媽媽. 據我了解n1國際班上下午各收20, 本地班上下午各收19(班房問題), 所以競爭性是差不多吧! 如你選擇國際班面試時由net或普通話老師(不諳粵語)面見, 視乎當時輪到邊位得閒, 而選本地班就會由net或廣東話老師面試. 我認為取決係小朋友本身有冇接觸開國語, 是否懂得聽而完成指示, 小朋友面試時都係歲半多d, 唔要求一定要講到流利說話, 識聽+識做已經可以, 當然能說相關語言就錦上添花. 國際班同本地班係兩條隊, 唔會因為考唔到國際班就轉你去本地班, 不過本地班n1直升k1時可選國際班.

無可否認，學校的確有不足的地方，就如前年同舊年ge interview安排已經不同，而微細至小朋友日常茶點安排、校服、與家校溝通的方法，什至課程、
功課量，舊年同今年都改動不少，相信學校已經努力去改善不足的地方~

1. 一班幾多人?
2. 係咪雙班主任?
3. 教學模式係點?  分組? 一組多少人? 由什麼人帶領?老師定助教?
4. pth and eng 一日有幾多時間
5. 教小朋友自理能力方面 (介片, 食荼點)
6. KM 學費幾錢? 一年交幾多期?
