There were lots of people this morning, and yes police was there warning all the drivers to move away.  Parents & kids had to line up.  We were 10 min early but still had to wait outside in the rain & wind for about 20 min (and my daughter started to have a terrible runny nose non-stop..which only made it even more challenging).  Once you're inside, things are well organized & the teachers are very nice.

However, my daughter was not in good mood today... & not answering teacher's questions at all.. saw the other kids - most of them were polite & proactive in answering & completed tasked assigned.

We are hopeless for sure

Interview content:

Firstly, group interview - 4 kids sit at a rectangular table and play lego.  Parent sits behind the table.  Teachers observe the kids and write their comments on the form.

Then, each kid will go to another room with parent to take individual interview with one teacher.  Questions asked:
1. What's your name
2. Teacher took out a towel, toothbrush, and biscuit and asked the child what are they and what for.
3.  Colors (blue, red, yellow) matching and ask the child to tell what each color is.
4.  Ask the child to put some beads through a thread provided.
5.  Ask parent why choose the school and what would you do if your child fights with another child in the park.
6.  Bye bye and give sticker to child.

Exactly the same questions as yours, except that we did not have the beads game but replaced with another task of using a spoon to put food from one bowl to another.

My daughter did all these but did not answer most of the questions, did not thank the teacher, nor did she say goodbye.. certified!  She was suddenly not behaving this whole week.  KV interview on Sun - also hopeless!

We were asked the same set of questions and games except that the teacher did NOT ask me any questions ie expections or why apply this school etc.

Does anyone know if it means we're certified?

just take it easy, kids are v observant and they can sense pressure.  I think not many kids can perform at their normal level given the setting and bad weather.  the important thing is to keep a positive attitude and praise the things they did well.

thanks a lot!! u r so nice~~ at least we can have some idea what to do on the interview day~

The tasks are really difficult (like putting beads using a thread / string, getting food from one bowl to another using spoon.... or even what the towel, toothbrush, biscuit are for.....) ... even kids may not be able to express the answers orally .....

Anyway, just take it for a trial .... as experience.
What I am worried is about the bad traffic and bad weather.... that would definitely affect the mood / feelings of both kids and parents....
