My son has just accepted today, but we still don't know how much is the fee per month (cannot fin in the web), the teachers and the school are good or not, how is the chance to enter better primary school, since my son go into interview alone, we don't know how is his performance. It is too much ???????????, any one can help?
i met some teachers and they were really nice, at least better than Yxxk. I heard it is quite good, and it offers full day too. I called them, the tuition is about 4600 for full day class. I guess u can call them and ask.
I see a lot of people applied and they iterviewed a lot of people too!
My girl had interviewed for K1. Actually she is going to another PN now, but I want her to have more chances to speak English, so I want her to change to St. Johannes for K1.
Very contradicting, because she is very happy in her school now, and all the teachers like her, don't know if it will be good for her to change another one.....
cain8l, my girl has been going to whole day nursery since 1.5 years old in another kindergarten, she enjoys it so much. I plan to let her go to full day, this is the reason why I choose St. Johannes.
If any parents know this kindergarten more, let us know more about this school too! Thanks!
Yes, my elder daughter is studying K3 at SJC currently. My younger daughter just got accepted to their K1 for 2012-2013. Please do not compare this school with York and SC or other famous kinders. I found they are very tranditional school with their style. They are very low profile. Not much marketing as you can see. New principal, New ruling! It is quite personal preference. Some people like it.. of cos some people don't. For me, I am happy to pick SJC.

Chewy, is your kid studying in SJC now?
Discipline -
For me, i found they are not a very very rigid school and not strongly emphasis on discipline. However, the class size is small, than the teacher can fully care with each kids. Teacher will easily point out any problem the kid has and communicate with parents.
But i have one concern , arevthry not foucs on chinese ? u know chinese is harder than english indeed. And is it only one teacher in the class for 15 kids ? net teacher?
For Chinese, I found SJC also focus. It can tell from their text book and writing. Please note they start have chinese and English dictation from K2.
K3 will start using P1 Chinese text book. I think everyschool have give and take! Compare Eng and Chi, their Eng skill is stronger. Yes around 15 student per class.
cain8l: if you consider Chinese language, I will suggest you to apply Kenville. Their Chinese is pretty strong
