We were in Room 8 yesterday and my daughter still doesn't know to speak in sentence.

I don't know how much is the chance to get accepted, anyway....we tried our very best, we have no reget!  "Quote from William Hung" Hehehehe.....

Dear All,

My daughter was interviewed in Room 6 yesterday at around 11:30 am (we missed the interview section of 11:15 am as my daughter was in washroom).  I hope it would not affect the result.

About my daughter's performance, I think it is OK and hope they can offer a seat for my daughter.  

Firstly, the teacher (there was only one teacher at the beginning as the native English teacher was away) talked to all the parents in Chinese (she asked us why we choose this school and what are our expectations of this school).  Then, the teacher showed some pictures to the kids and asked them what they are(also in Chinese).  My daughter answered the teacher's questions all in English.  But she refused to answer how does a dog say & how does a cat say.  

While my daughter was doing the shape matching, the Chinese teacher asked me in Chinese: have your daughter attended any playgroup & pre-nursery?  I said to her that my daughter is now studying pre-nursery in Funful. and it seemed to me that she was very interested & familiar about Funful.  She talked to me many things about Funful.

Then the native English teacher talked to me in English.  She asked me how long does my daughter studying in Funful, why I choose this school, who take care of my daughter, where do I work, etc.

Generally speaking,  I like the style of the interview and my daughter seems very happy and willing to answer the questions.  At the end of the interview, my daughter has made fly kisses to the teachers and said Bye-Bye to them.  The teachers are nice and make me feel very comfortable.

I have given up 2 kinders before. So same as you, this school is my last chance though I still have a backup (Funful).

How could they make a decision without interveiwing all the applicants?  If it is true, I think it is not fair la!  Or, the teacher said "HOPE to see you next September"?  Moreover, did they give your brother a leaflet with a little white paper?  When I went to the school for interview, I saw a man coming out and holding this and said to his wife, "... so that means they have accepted my child ..."  I wonder if it is true.

每一位家長都派果份小冊子及小小通知書，話會2個星期後發通知，我一坐低未開始面試都已經由老師派咗啦，所以唔代表係ok架。

我同我個女都係見一號室10:15分，果位外籍女士好好人，整體感覺好過見根德園，我自己已經儘哂力，而我明白我個女咁細(9/02出世)，唔可以要求佢點，佢嘅表現比我預期中好，已非常足夠，面試完我地兩母女，齊齊去shopping獎勵/安慰自己。

Thanks for your explanation, but they did not give me this leaflet wor!  The teacher just told me I'll be notified before 3 Dec.  My interview time was 11:45am and they had already run out of those leaflets?     Or, they had rejected my child and not eagered to give one out?  Sorry, such a minor action would make me guess a lot.       

Finally, I hope your daughter good luck!

I have also received the leaflet stapled with a white note at the beginning of the interview.  Wonder why you don't have.   I think it is unbelievable if the school did not prepare enough leaflet for all the parents.  Anyway, let's wait for the result on/before Dec 3 and good luck to you all.

我仔仔果日in11點,佢以超正表現答哂問題,仲叫老師同佢玩,我仔in room 5,d老師好好人,同我仔仔玩好開心,我老公仲對le間幼稚園改觀左,感覺得好好!le間幼稚園環境好光猛!好適合小朋友學習!     希望成功啦!

我囡囡都係in room 5, 10:45 表現ok, 佢好怕羞, 開頭都唔開口答問題, 但老師非常好, 好有耐性引導佢, 最後都可以答到。我都好鐘意間學校整潔, 光猛, 我見到有computer room, music room, 洗手間男女分開, 好clean.
希望成功入到。

我Alan係in 9:30am, room 2, 大致上感覺幾好但覺得係in家長多過in小朋友, 要求家長用英文去講對學校的睇法, 對子女的期望, 子女成長的過程..... 等等. 佢呢個interview方式令我都有d緊張, 講的時候好小心, 但反而減少左alan的壓力, 因為佢仲唔係太識講野.  我都無諗過家長in幼稚園好似見工咁, 我去之前係咁熟讀佢的pamphlet, 記住佢學校的重點. ....

最後, 希望有個好消息比我啦.

我個小朋友都係係room 2 interview在9:00, 我都覺得似見工多過似報幼稚園, 我無用英文答佢地d問題, 反而問亞仔d蘋果, 橙, 手呀... 亞仔可用英文答, 我自己覺得無所謂入唔入到都唔緊要, 因去左interview之後我自己覺得個感覺唔係幾好, 無論俾個大人及個小朋友都係.

I'm glad to know that you have the same feeling as mine (we were in Room 2 as well).  The teachers were nice.  However, during and after the interview, I was quite frustrated with what I have seen and heard.  I hope I am just a bit over-worried!

If my memory is correct there were around 400 applicants for am class.  The teacher spoke very softly to me that I could not catch up for what she said nearly.
