之前有家長話讀左呢個班對報小一有用，梗係大把人報啦，但我想提醒吓呢個只係佢地既playgroup，並唔係代表入到兒童合唱團。如果想學好樂器，上playgroup肯定冇用！ ...

好多d面試班/興趣班只要一講到對入學有幫助, 家長都自然趨之若鶩, 仲記得之前有個post話$500一堂既維也納音樂班比bb讀都好似好多人有興趣... 其實經過咁多輪面試大家都身經百箭, 知道呢d野係隨緣, 仲諗住排通宵為報個音樂啟蒙? 放鬆d啦!

That's ok.  I think somehow this reflects the current situation with kindergartens and its relationships with subsequent primary school application so should be interesting information for others' reference.

I will move it if the discussions become irrelevant.

Too crazy, I saw the q yesterday when I brought my kid there.  My experience is u can submit the form, if too many applicant before u, HK choir will put u on waiting list.  If that term has kid leaving, then u will be the 1st group ad u already lined up for few months.

名氣大嘛.
值唔值得好難講.
我睇佢網頁, 唔係搵到太多相關資料, 又唔識人讀過可以告知教D 乜. 價錢亦唔係好平.
所以唔去排隊了.
我係咪好理智呢! (我唔係話去排隊家長唔理智, 如果你有了解過課程好合適, 我覺得係沒有問題的, 我都會去排...)

其實,入到系咪對考小學好有用??? 我個女依家做緊小一面試,真係唔特別覺,最重要都系面試表現,所以大家真係唔好甘緊張

What I mean is even though this term is full, HK choir will keep your form until next year/term submission (u don't have to fill the form again), then you will be the 1st group of candidate in their record.  This was my experience, I submitted my form 1 day before the deadline, the staff already told my kid had no chance for the coming term, need to wait for next term.  Finally, received a letter from HK Choir for next term.  

So, I don't think it's necessary to line up for overnight unless you really want your kid to enter HK Choir in the coming term.

But not sure HK Choir has changed the policy this year as I remember I download form their website when I applied for my kid.

合唱組面試競爭都好大，今年成2000 個小朋友考，問香兒又唔講收幾多個， 有無人知呀？ ...

我覺得未必囉
因為今次佢地都post哂有咩地點咩時間有幾多個位 (例如親子一班有6班x14個位)咁先到先得. 排隊既人一定有位.
如果好似你咁講上一次既人都有優先咁佢地排都無意思啦

我之前(上年8月)都係waiting list (因為開得一班) 最後佢call我有位 係因為加多左一班 (我果次係total2班)先有位.

不過, 上一次(2月) 佢地stop左無比新人申請 可能就係要清左你所講waiting list 既人先都唔定.
