Any BK mother can share the interview experience which taken last week? I heard most of them had 1st round interview on last Sat.

Hi all,
My son had an interview for N1 at KT Creative.
We waited in a classroom with 3 other kids and their parents together.  Then a teacher came to us and asked my son some questions (in cantonese):
1. what's your name?
2. taking a strawberry toy and ask about the colour
3. taking a banana toy and ask about what fruit it is
4. taking an apple toy and ask about what fruit it is
5. taking an orange toy and ask about what fruit it is
6. taking a toy and ask my son to give to me.

After finised with the questions, the teacher gave us a star sticker.  My son said thank you to the teacher and said goodbye to her.

The teacher said that everything was ok but we still need to wait for formal reply from school.

Last note:  My son was born in Jan 2009.  He didn't answer teacher's first question (maybe hé felt not easy when meeting stranger).  Then I helped along to ask question in english.  Teacher asked me if my son only understood english. I said no as my son also understood chinese (we speak both chinese and english at home).
Teacher continued with her 2nd question.  My son answered in english.  When teacher asked him the 4th question, my son suddenly changed to mandarin in his reply (?!?!  I think he learnt that from his playgroup that he is attending now)  Finally, he could answer question 2, 3, 4 correctly and followed the instruction in question 6.

Hi Winifred,

Nice to see you here. Coen attended Creative Lam Tin interview last Sat. And we met Emmy there!

Creative believes in mother-tongue teaching therefore they concern if the kid understands cantonese or not. When Coen has interview in Lam Tin, the teacher asked him who brought you here (in cantonese)? Coen answered "Daddy mammy". After a few rounds of questions teacher asked Coen to open a book and asked what are those subjects. Interestingly Coen told the first in English, second in Cantonese, then Third in English, then the last in Cantonese. Then teacher made fun on him saying that "so your speaking pattern is one English word then one Cantonese word...haha!" I think Coen was doing ok lah! That was his first interview!
