I have called the school. They said we need to attend second interview. Anyone has the same situation?

interviewed on 11/27 and got accepted today for am.  I wonder how many k1 am and pm they have.  anybody having an idea?

Same as you though my son's performance was not good. Pay before Dec 2. I think once St. Cat's results released, most mum will give up. Then Creative will have an extraordinary profit... ha ha

I want to know, who really plan to go to Creative in Sept, not just holding a place in case their kid can't get into St. Cat or Kent.

I keep changing my mind of whether I should pay the deposit on Dec 2.

I am wondering why so few parents discuss about Creative.  And many regards Creative as second or third choice.  Is Creative inferior to KV or SC?

I waited for almost an hour before actual interview.  During that time I studied the classroom and the works of the children.  The impression to me is quite good.  Also the facility and neighbourhood are nice when compared to PLK TAYSF and KV, etc.

其中主要原因係無KV or SC咁'名'，但我由此至終都喜歡啟思附屬幼稚園，雖然我都有in KV or SC，但兩間學校比我嘅感覺都係好鬼舊、唔乾淨(特別係KV)、賴巴閉咁(playground封晒，驚死人會玩咁)。

我也有同感, 有些家長覺得Creative的老師太hard-sell, 但從另一角度看她們給人親切的感覺。如果只考慮英文水平及學術成績,可能KV和SC這兩家超熱門學校會更好,但是我覺得校園環境,教學模式也是挺重要的,鼓勵孩子發揮創意及培養自信心能讓他終身受用,如果孩子的性格和EQ不適合'名校'的模式,我担心會引起反效果。

就係因為小人discuss 就無乜人知道呢間學校,好多時好野未必多人講,講出來咪多人爭,如果佢地學校仲唔講清楚間學校既優點咁就更加小人讀o的, 但我覺得佢比起kv同sc透明度高o的,同埋Creative升小學比較貴,無乜家長會考慮而嚇怕

Interviews enable schools to select students and parents to schools. I had 2 friends ended up giving up offers from St. Cat last year, they felt the school was too commercial and impersonal during the interview. In the end they chose HK preschool and LLC respectively.

The reason I gave up Creative was during the interview the teacher only talked about what she wanted to say, she was not keen to answer/address my questions(related to their lessons arrangement etc). I found their friendliness kind of 'unreal'. It's just my personal experience and feeling.

你話o的老師態度好假,我都唔否認,但佢地o的學生仲假,o的學生見到我同老師傾緊行過都同我地打招呼同敬禮,心想又覺得佢地教o的細路好有禮貌但有好作狀咁.

1. There is no absolute answer to your question because the definition and expectation of every parent is different.  I think the key point is whether you're comfortable with the atmosphere of the kindergarten and whether you expect your kid can study happily there.  From the kindergarten guidebook I found that in one SC campus only, there is 17 classes of K1!!!  It is really scaring.  I could not imagine how thousands of kids can study together in one campus (including K2 & K3)

3. I heard that CPS's teaching method is more like international school.  But I may not consider CPS because the fee is so expensive (~HK$60000 per year)

我都會讀啟思,因為佢地既教學法都改進緊,又好有心機自編一套phonics,將來334,傳統教學都未必再存在,連kentville都會改為部份活動教學,咁就真係要唸唸啦. 我in kv 同sc都係想見識下. sc仲好o的kv個透明度真係好唔掂. 仲有太多學生真有o的似倍太子讀書. 收咁多學費,校舍都唔番新,真係有無搞錯, 我唸佢地都會編埋富貴班,精英班,平民班.

2. 因為佢地太多班law, e.g 得34個課室,咁k2同k3咪要分上下午law 明未 , 之前佢地都比教局點名話佢地太迫,空間小,同埋佢地都有30年歷史,以前無人讀,而家多人讀,所以攪到咁law, 讀cckg原因係想o的細路再容易o的入到小拔,你見佢間校舍係小拔隔離,日日同o的細路講,你地想入呢間學校就要勤力啦.(講笑),不過都係聽人講話佢地再小班train o的小朋友英文,因有些名校只用英文interview,同樣會train佢地小一interview.

3. 佢地活動教學係好出名,公民教育唔錯,佢地頭三年係啟發小孩既創作,思考,語言同羅輯, 而唔係填鴨式,到升小四後就轉回傳統教學,佢地派位中學都唔錯.

今日交錢時見到CPS升中派位統計，有85%以上升上首三個志願，其中不乏喇沙、德望、迦密等
