星期六取成績單,好彩唔係等好耐,名次尚算接受!
大家有沒有去聽暑假遊學團??那日聽左澳洲教育聯網,而今日去埋學聯聽,真的太多選擇,唔知揀邊間好,如去澳洲是否選澳洲教育呢??第一次參加,真唔知點揀,可否比啲意見

My son is now is in P.6, his English is just okay to poor, his writing is full of Chinglish.  I am worrying how he can successfully transfer to secondary life in Pui Ching Secondary section.  

Can some parents kindly advise how did your child get transfer smoothly?  

Or any tutorial centre for Pre S-1 in the summer?  Is Red-Blue tut ctr or So In Math ok?  Pls help.

今年中一除了英文科，只有Maths用英文授課，不過其他科(如科學)也會教及考英文terms。

My son was also in Red-blue Tutorial centre when he was in P5 & P6, but not much train-up in Eng composition (also not much in 中作). I think this centre is good for drilling exam questions, they will have mock papers (even GS & bible).

Maths用英文授課...唔知F1同學適唔適應??  中英作文係咪要寫好多字?? e+ P6中作約3XX字, 英作1XX字..

我個人覺得, 培中以收培小為主, 培小方面是否亦應及早提供相應GE資料俾家長/同學, 亦應安排適量GE升中學習/準備給P5/P6...讓同學去及早適應或衡量...

培正遊學團，我女以前小五都去過，當年去的只是一所遠離布里斯班的鄉村中小學，不去也吧!
如真的要去，還是選擇往英國的遊學團，學校質素比較有保證。

我仔仔F.1，每一科類都有名次，全級名次就未有列出，不過班主任就話咗比我知我仔仔在班的排位。

因P5 & P6 也教Maths 的英文terms，有派對照表，另每本數學書後頁也有。我F1前summer叫我仔review吓。

Sorry! 還以為講緊小學的遊學團。
小女今年中二，但升中時沒有在培正升學了。參加遊學團是她小五升小六那年的事了。

I have go up to visit "So In" Tutorial Centre to see if the Eng Math there is okay.  One is near MK rail station, the other is near YMT,  the 2 centres give very different atmosphere to me though I saw DBS and Kln Wa Yan students there.  

Does anybody have any comment on this?
1 Is "So In" Centre Ok?  
2 Which one is better?
3 Any other recommendations?

As my son is no good at English, I can't help  worrying about his Math performace when teaching in English materials.  

I went to Nathan Road to look for tut centres, building by building and it was tiring.  I found 2 So In centres and some other Math centres called ECA, Canotta, etc at YMT.  Will sb help me please.

Is the Pre-S1 Assessment decide who goes to Elite class?  Is only elite class use Eng math Textbk?  Or all classes use the same Math Tb?  I don't know why I get worry more and more day by day.  I am afraid my son may lost all his confidence once he cannot catch up his Math class.

我想話,佢嘅學習態度明顯比P.6差了很多,可能佢真係以為F.1 是 honeymoon year 啦!

請問試後延伸課程 (30/6 至 8/7) 及團契營 (6/7 至 8/7) 係咪培中每位學生都必須返?

想當年: 升中後變英文數, 從來唔覺會因英文唔好而影響數學成績.  數唔好係數學根基差/ 無數學頭腦同興趣, 完全唔關英文事.  反而應keep住補英文科.
