很想推介一套戲 - 《作死不離3兄弟》《3 idiots》。

這是好有內涵既一齣戲，三個小時全無冷場，一套幾近完美的電影，有很多的反思位。戲中對教育的制度及勢利世態的諷刺，很值得教育界及家長深思和反思。

希望中基的家長不要錯過一齣如此有深度的電影！

她很喜歡，這間中學是她自己選擇的。

小女說老師很友善和有責任心。

你對學校有什麼評價?
學校的校規很嚴，能教出品德好的學生。
有很多的課外活動。
這間學校喜歡活動教學，長短假期時，喜歡讓學生做不同類型的簡報。簡報完成後，學生要輪著上台解說。本人非常欣賞這樣的教學方法，除了可訓練口才外，還可以讓學生習慣面向群眾增強自信心。另外，有很多習作需要學生畫圖，令他們加強記憶，這方法本人亦極欣賞。

知道這間學校有很多測驗, 他們應付得來嗎?
學校有很多小測，這是對小朋友好的。因為如果沒有小測，大多數小朋友是不會主動溫習的。若將所有學的知識留待考試時才溫習，那實在消化不來呢。
不過學校有些課程比較深，尤其科學那一科，因為中一是學中二的課程的。若英文稍遜，讀這間學校會較吃力。希望這些資料能夠幫到你吧。

Agreed wtih what Loyanmei's comments.  The school provides sound education to all students  in  both moral and academic aspects and even physical education.  My son enjoys the school life very much  and found the school life fruitful ! He has a lot of opportunity to participate in competitions and he got the chance to attend some courses  conducted by  universities.  I would say that our school is great to nourish  all students no matter they are strong or weak. Thank you very much!

can I ask what Year/Form is your son studying now?  
and what kind of university courses and completition he attended.

Dear Beebreadma,

I extracted some information from the school annual reports of 2010-2011  for your kind reference. That information might be useful for you to have a better overview for  our school, not just the experience of my own.

A well-structured gifted education was provided to students. All students enjoy equal opportunities of having “quality education” such as Enrichment Course (S.1–S.2), Project-based Learning (S.1–S.2), and Mobile learning with iPad (S.3).
In addition, we provided in-house training for selected students, including Mathematics Enhancement Course (40 S.2–S.3 students), Biliterate and Trilingual Enrichment Course (40 S.1–S.4 students), Creativity Workshop (10 S.1–S.2 students), Leadership Training – Leaders of Tomorrow (40 S.3–S.6 students), Scientific Research (9 S.4 students), ICAN by Whole Person Development Institute (12 S.3–S.6 students), and Exceptionally Gifted Students in Multiple Intelligence (17 students with gifted talents).

To answer your questions of my own:
My boy is a F.3 student, he attended the gifted programs by schools and gifted /talented programs organised by universities such as CU in F.1 and HKUST in F.3. Those programs are nominated and sponsored by  CFSS. So, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to our dedicated  principals and caring teachers with hearts. Cheers

Thanks alot of your share.   Furthermore, I would like to ask if those programs for gifted students will help them to DEVELOPE and ENRICH their strength and talent?  or the programs just make them to do more difficult and much much more homeworks to push for their excellent Public Exam result?

It is believed that those gifted programs  which organised by CFSS and universities both can help my son  developing his potential and equipping with sound knowledges,  it will make his school life more fruitful and enjoyable.

can I ask you one more question.  what is the normal school hours?  Do they need to stay behind after school very often?   thanks a million.

You are welcome....

Normal school hour : 8:10 a.m. to 3:50 p.m.
My son joins a lot of activities or courses and sports school team training,  so he will stay at school until six oclock around three to four days in a week. Anyway, it all depends on your family's preference or decision to join or not.. more importantly, your son's interest is  a  key concern.
My son love them so much and he can strive a very good balance between studies and activities.

Most of the activities are free of charge but some sports team training are required to pay for external coach fee, the cost for  each sport is around $600 to $1200 for whole year.
