My son Brian interviewed at 3:15 pm today accompanied by my wife. I think the questions and activities were the same with others. But my son had just about 10 minutes for the whole interview.

take it easy, my kid also not sing becasue he don't know actually, i told the teacher directly, same as Daniel, my kid answer very very softly that if the teacher not pay attention to him and not look at his mouth, may miss what's he saying.  yet, i quite satisfied of his performance though some question not perfromed quite well, this will only be my 2nd choice if SC offer us place, the capmus and playground facitilies seems much better than Kentville, do any one know how about their classroom ?  Can we request visit of both kg afterwards ?

Thanks for your kind and comforting words.  Kentville is also not my 1st choice and indeed not even my 2nd.  So far, regardless of his manners, Daniel had demonstrated extreme confidence in all other interviews - not shy, quick and firm response, cheerful personality.........etc.  But today, he was just a totally different person.  He even didn't get a chance to sing which is supposed to be his 強項.  Anyway, I will feel better in the next couple of days.  Perhaps this is not really the type of school for my hyperactive boy.

Take it easy, we can't expect them to perform consistently as they are still so young. I think daniel's interviewers are not so pretty, that's why he didn't talk much, or the school and toys are not attractive to him.  I am so worried in the beginning because Janice almost fall asleep in the taxi before the interview.  Same as you, I prefer st. catherine more than kentville.  But Janice's performance was just average yesterday, I didn' have much confidence that St. catherine will accept her.  Nevermind, we still have Keenmind and Stafford.

You've got such a wonderful memory.  Yes, Daniel only responds to pretty girls.  The interviewer was a woman in her late twenties, with glasses, no makeup, short hair, and the most important of all, not pretty and with no smile.  After Kentville, we went to Creative Primary School's Kindergarten.  The interviewer was young, with long hair and simple make up, pretty with a nice soft and gentle voice, great smile - 玉女姐姐型!Daniel直頭未停過笑同講野,表情多多,動作多多,風騷入骨,你話小朋友幾奇怪呢?

Anyway, I am feeling a lot better.  Perhaps even as between KM and Kentville, I still prefer KM which is at least more capable in providing all round development for kids.

Just like SC, the arrangement was also good this afternoon. My girl was also as she was sleepy. She was not requested to sing, maybe she couldn't answer all the questions even just say "Mummy","Thank you" & "Bye Bye". But then, her eyes became brighter when we went out of the classroom as she saw some candies in front of her. She responsed very well then when that teacher asked.

Alan didn't do good in the interview as well.  He took some medicine this morning and he looked dull during the interview.  Everything seemed not to be in the mood for him.  Interviewer asked him "What's your name, how old are you, and who brings you here..." Alan didn't answer.  I taught him word by word but the interviewer said I shouldn't give answer to him.  I told her frankly Alan in fact cannot speak yet even I have taught him for many months.  She seems to be very considerate and understanding.  

The whole interview was quite good and I felt comfortable with speaking to the interviewer, but Alan's performance was not that good.  

The interviewer said the school may consider to give a second interview for those kid could not speak well during the first interview, so even though Alan failed in this interview, I wish Kentville could give him a second chance.

瑤瑤今日情緒好唔穩定,in根德園前in左協恩同啟思小學附屬幼稚園,本來今朝in協恩都好好地,(雖然答唔到好多,但態度良好)但係in啟思就開始發惡,到in根德園亦唔掂!
d學校全部在1日舉行interview,攪到d小朋友頻頻撲撲,粗勞到死,仲撞晒時間撞到嘔!!! 中間隔左3個鐘又返唔到屋企,逼住在街唔知做咩!!

你地有無留意你地in根德園第一round之後,老師有無在張form中下位置畫一個三角形?後來排隊拿糖既時候我發覺,拿著無三角形form的小朋友通常都可以在拿糖時講自己個名同say thank you,bye bye,我估計那批學生能夠入到的機會都幾大!
因為我發覺我張form係有三角形,所以都打定輸數!

整個interview只係得一個老師去in喎, 我知舊年係一個老師in家長, 一個老師in小朋友, 但我見今日唔係咁喎.

As far as I know, there are no native English teachers in Kentville. However, the English standard in Kentville is outstanding. I believe it is even better than those schools with native English teachers. So no worries.

Many of my friends' kids are students of Kentville. They enjoy school life so much. Kentville now is not as traditional as we may thought it was in the old days. The teachers there are very experienced though a considerable number are young.

However, one fact is this school is very low-profile. It holds a lot of student activities each year but with no participation from the parents e.g. talent quest, speech day, drama appreciation, etc.
