Except SPK, SH also accept boys, just over 10 % of each year's intake.

HY and GH are both girls only (the other one is St. Clare's in HK island)

MUST clarify this, Munsang's kindergarten student is not guaranteed to its primary school!!! No need to interviews, but some students will not be offered.......

B.BB, I guess I answer your question in your thread rather than mine, since you are comparing Munsang and St. Cat at the end.

First of all, I have limited personal knowledge of these two kindergartens since I didn't apply to both for my elder daughter. So, my comments are just based on information I heard or collected only.

I don't consider Munsang as one-dragon since quite many of their kindergarten students will not be offered for primary seats. So, I will only choose Munsang if I like its primary school a lot. Other than that, I don't find any good reasons to choose it. I think that's the simplest way to your struggle.

thanks Ian，我都贊成你的睇法。如只比較幼稚園的話，我應該唔會考慮民生，st cat 一定好得多。不過，我真係在考慮緊民生小學部，而唔係民幼。

以你所知，民生小學部的 academic 水平如何呢？

如果一心要揀間好d嘅俾佢讀呢就緊係sc啦,如果係好滿意佢第日讀民小的就揀民生啦.......其實出面都有好多好小學的,唔需要好似讀唔到一條龍學校就一定無好學校讀先得架,當然無人敢包啦,不過俾我揀我會想行好第一步先囉......

我大囡兩年前St. Cat畢業, 當年考到德望, 宣小, 九龍塘學校及聖方濟各, 個人認為以上四間都比民小好, 點解咁早要侷限自己呢?

KV & St Cat確實好難取捨, 當年我就取St. Cat而棄KV! 今年到我細囡, 我就取KV, 理由好簡單...... 我細囡考唔到St Cat!

所以你應該好好珍惜你個學位, 好多人好羨慕你呀! (起碼我就係其中一個!)

好多人都講幾年前考到好既私小...不過2007年係金豬(火豬)之後打落幾年既出生率又高好多.

True. I notice often time this factor has been ignored. The birth rate of 2007 is 50% higher than 2003, we are talking about just 4 years different!

And the effects on applications would certainly be more than 50% higher, consider the multiplying effects so this must be taken consideration, and very important one.

正因為出生率高, 咁難考都考到就更加要珍惜! 幼稚園難, 將來考小學一樣難, 所以更加要讀一間程度高少少幼稚園裝備自己, 應付三年後考小學重重難關!

我自己選學校會視乎小朋友性格去決定, 我有兩個小朋友, 大仔係細b 比較好動, 學野快, 鍾意每事問, 所以先兩年搵kg, kln tong 只係報左st cat, 貪佢活動教學, 幸運地取錄了亦讀得好開心; 今年我亦貪得意報pc k1 , 幸運地亦被取錄, 可惜pc根本唔係我個仔柸茶, 所以會留在st cat 讀k2.

以我個仔性格, 我會 sc >ms > pc > kv
