LV campus has already cancelled the full day class for K1. Now, full day class is only available for K2 and K3.
My son is currently attending K2 full day class. (He was also in the last batch of K1 full day class previous year.) In the afternoon (ends by 4 pm), there are various activities such as language and dancing ... etc.
It's quite a long day already for small kid so please consider carefully if you really see the need to add more interest class after school. If you still want to add more after school, I would ask you to consider those 'centres' in Fisherman's Wharf to save the kid's time and energy from commuting.
My daughter is also a current LH student. She is now in PN.
For P1 admission, I have sent four application letters for my son. He's got admitted to one DSS school and one private school. Finally, we chose an aided school for him. Good luck to your son.

Thanks for your active sharing here. Though, your son has graduated from LHK. Now, it's my headache time to consider P1 for my son.
I'll attend the session 3 in Ying Wa on 11/7. Which session have you registered (assuming you will attend too)?
For now, I am honestly not sure what school is most suitable for my son. Yet, have shortlisted some popular DSS and private school to apply first. I just want my son to learn Chinese in Hong Kong so will not try those school with too little Chinese in their curriculum.

Hi huba,
I also headache for my son too, I am still thinking what kind of primary schools are suitable for him.
btw, will you join the seminar organised by Ying Wa in July ?
We'll also attend session 3 and we may meet in Ying Wa.
Up to this moment, i still think about 'traditional type' or 'more active type'. Unlike my elder daughter, my son is much more active and I just wonder whether he can adopt the traditional school......
Have you attended the primary school application information seminar in April? thank you so much to those K3 parents who have shared their experiences and "tips" to us.
I will meet the class teacher at 12:00, not sure whether u are still in the school.
Hi elizatyy,
Yes, I had joined the K3 sharing session in April and really thanks for K3 parents' sharing. However, as it is a joint school event, too many parents there and we can't ask questions interactively.
I think LHK may organise this kind of sharing session by branches so that our K2 parents can ask more questions.
I did attend the seminar and my son went together too. Though he fell asleep after sitting properly for one hour.
In addition to saying thanks to all those K3 parents for sharing their experience, I hope this activity will continue to receive support from the parents to make it a good tradition for LHK.

you are so kind, thank you for your information and advice, I'll keep in mind with that. of course, when i asked about the after class lesson, i'd only consider if the children would have studied the half day class only, not after the full day class.
I'm so absent-minded. Your kid will only start PN morning class in the coming Aug so you don't need to consider the long school hours for full day class yet.
