I tried to attend a trial class with Artplus a few months ago.  Their receptionist was so so rude so I said to myself I will never attend their playgroup / classes! :evil:

I am considering trying 江芷茵 in Causeway Bay, she sounds very nice over the phone and offered us a free trial class!

My son is 23 months old, he is studying in Kornhill victoria of toddler class from August.
Firstly, I'm don't know this school is good or not before. He is joined the playgroup from 1 year old.
I'm also want to share the experience with the other mami, thank you, thank you!

Hi all mum,

I am a new member in BK.  Very nice to meet you all mum.  My son is studying PN in Victoria (Harbour Height) since this September.  I am very happy to found out he improved a lot after joined school especially in language.

Before that, he speaks BB language and not speaks a lot.  I am quite worry about that. After joined school, just around 2 months, he can sing a little bit, and speaks so many phrases.  Maybe he is the only child in the family, he is lack of choice to play along with others child.  That's why he can get improvement in school.

I feel Victoria is very good school, though quite expensive one.  But it's worth for it.  The important thing is my child can have a happy school life.

Their teachers are very nice and patient. My child was crying around 2 weeks when he started to school.  But teacher let us to be with him until he was not crying.  It is very nice arrangement. My son is very enjoy to school right now.  He says Bye Bye to me when I left school.  I think it is very important how to start and let him know it is very fun in school.  In this point, I am very appreciated with Victoria.  I think I will let my son to study PN,K1 to K3 in there.

Nice to sharing with all Victoria's mum.

E,我個仔個間又無雜費窩﹐學費唔記得係$3600+ 定$3900+﹐係全包架﹐茶點手工全包窩﹐至于其他買書﹐活動呀﹐都係optional。 甚至校服都唔一定要幫襯學校的provider- Kingcow。 可以自己係出面買架﹐我知有媽咪係北角買到夏季校服﹐平三﹐四十蚊一套架。所以so far 我都唔覺得維記係扼錢or白甲眼。 我個仔真係返得好開心﹐由九月第一日返學開始﹐一次都未喊過﹐重日日返到屋企就曲不離口﹐重成日念念有詞叫住D同學仔的名。 我唯一擔心就係升小學﹐因為成日覺得維記又唔係好本地﹐又唔似國際﹐所以唔知D好學校會點看呢間學校。

至于Kindermusik, 我的看法完全唔同。 我個仔上過 Kindermusik by Catherine when he was 6 months old and 2 years old.  Both he and I enjoy it a lot.  我而家穩左位qualified kindermusik instructor (紐約鬼婆)﹐逢星期六下午﹐自己約埋一班同年齡的小朋友一齊自組playgroup。 我覺得小朋友得著的不是聽音樂做動作咁簡單﹐而是由活動中學懂self control & social skills. 再者音樂係一種好好的 stimulation for emotion and language skills development。 不過最終個句都係唔同人唔同看法﹐一定有人喜歡﹐有係唔喜歡既﹐交流交流即。

我個仔都係呀。 我地在家係全廣東話﹐唔准半中半英架﹐費事學壞口音﹐但我個仔返學幾個禮拜﹐已經識講好正既 "this is elbow" 同一般基本的英文喇。

My child has just enrolled by Homantin branch. Since it is a new branch, I'm not sure it will be a good kindergarten like others branch or not.  Any parents can give me some ideas? I can't make up my mind now.

想問大家係咪上星期(or再上星期)收到通告話cable tv有人去拍攝belcher's branch,我唔見左張notice呀,係咪24號已經播左? 我尋晚至醒起,真係激死人! :evil:

One of the campuses in Kornhill will be closed and the teachers will transfer to Kln campus. So I believe the standard is just the same.

Yes, most of the teachers in Mid. Kornhill will transfer to Homantin branch next year as they will close Mid. Kornhill next year.
My younger daughter is studying in Mid. Kornhill since Aug.  Victoria gave us a notice and let me select which branch I like to transfer ! Lower Kornhill or other branch ?  I chose Lower Kornhill.

我ｂ仔都係返緊Kornhill　的 playgroup呀,第一日呀,
我b仔都係好鍾意呢間學校..

The best thing I like is Good Native Teacher : I went with my younger daughter (K1) to the picnic last month.  I saw her native teachers always went everywhere to talk and play with the students.  When we came back to school during in the school bus, my daughter sit behind her and annoy her including her hair.  The teacher still smile and played with her.

In Aug., my daughter is very afraid of her.  Now she loves her and always speaks with her very much.  Her english is better now.

For HK$3,355 per month (no additional charge), it's worth.  I heard some of my friend paid more than $1,200 per month for their children to study with the Native teacher.

Also, my elder daughter graduated in Victoria.  Now she is studying P1.  She does her english homework very fast and no problem.  But for Chinese, I need to help her because she don't know most of the chinese word.
