事實﹖
To me, what they learned is really not easy, they learned more on soft skills (i.e. presentation, writing reports, how to organize activities, their report, their work rather than memorize it.
I think the school is good or bad really depends on the student, mom and dad's preference. If parent really prefer traditional school, even you know CKY is good, you will feel very frustrate caused they did a lot of homework at home, even though you get back the worksheet, you still do not know how to help them to do revision, dictation will be done at school but you won't know. Most important, the report will be done in comment rather than marks. It will be very hard for a "traditional" minded mommy to know how good/bad your kid, caused people will normally fall into the trap that by using comparison, you will know where your kid is.
I was a very good student in memorize all the books, but most of them cannot really help when I worked nowadays.
I saw some of the skill they learn is what university taught nowaday...and they also learn how to learn, so without teacher, in the future, they can applied the skill / habit they learned now to continue...the lifelong learning process.
What I see from CKY student, most of them are happy, eager to learn, interest to know the truth, but of course, different kid will be different
Just share my view, you can neglect it if you do not agree with it.
