其實我真係唔覺得york貴, 我個仔讀緊tko n1, 都要交好多費, 如1人1花, 課外書,買相, 聖誕節party... 我睇到有些家長話每個月都要交$, 其實出面其它學校都要架 !! 不過唔知點解, 講到只係york要呢 ?? 不過有些學校雜費不是很貴.
我都覺得學校攪課外班, 目的是方便家長, 但比人覺得學校搵家長錢, 學校收費亦好合理.
另外又有一班c9係bk流言, 話york好貴, 又要人參加cambright等等...但無真實理據, 自己唔讀york, 就唔好踩人地學校. 不過york好唔好, 都係要讀咗先比意見其它人啦 !!

very happy to see the message here.  We really like York when we attended the interview there !  The teacher is the best from what we have seen (probably we are lucky)!

I do have concerns on their english level as apart from english, every lesson is conducted in Cantonese, and friends have been telling that stafford is much better coz of NET teacher.  Now seeing these messages i am so happy !  

but one of the problems is that York is a bit far away from us (we live in NT).

York is a very good school, my girl is studying in U3 now, I attend full day course in L2, I joined most of the activities in N1 and L2, Cambridge course is worth to join, in my opinion, just let her learn more before going to P.1.  My girl is happy to go to school everyday and love all teachers.  Many people said york is commercial, actually I think all private kindergartens are commercial, right!  Otherwise, how can they earn money to run their business.  York didn't force parent to join their activities, but when you chose private school for your kid, you must want him/her to learn more.  My girl got all offers from the P.1 private schools she applied and her friends' results on P.1 applications are good too.  I only don't like the schoolbus arrangement, long travel time and too overcrowded.

May i know : -

1./ which month of your girl & her friend's born ?
2./ which primary schools that your daughter got the offer.
3./ how much for the WHOLE day study... i want to verify with you that if there is an 精英班 started from L2 ? Or this 精英班 = 多元智能課程 ?

Sorry for the above points of questions as I do want to pull those supporting to my husband for supporting me to let my girl in ....

I totally agree all your points as stated below.

My girl is a born in mid of the year and some of my friends boy/girl born in Sep/Oct/Dec, actually born in Dec is a little bit hard for them to get a seat than a big b (of course some exceptional cases).

I got offer from Good Hope, SFA, TSL and 宣小(just got letter last week) and my friends also got offer from 英華, TSL, SFA...

There is no 精英班 in york, only 多元智能班, it means a whole day class.  The class fee is $3600/month including lunch and afternoon tea.  Not much other expenses, only one time outing transportation charges, a few hundreds (I can't remember) and some misc charges for drawing class. The fee included cambridge starters course, 活力體操, 畫班, 小小小一面試課程.

i also want to ask the same question, is $3600 an extra fee for this course? Also, I heard that only the smart kids have chance to join this  course, how can the school choose the right children? will they have exam in K1?

$3600 is for afternoon class only, they will have the regular class in York in am, and take lunch in York and then take school bus to Stafford to attend the afternoon class (travel around 5 mins).  Mon, Tue pm (cambridge course), Wed (gymastic course), thu (drawing course), Fri (Chinese course).  The fee included afternoon tea and once a month outing.

It is because they don't have sufficient classroom, so in my time they can only have a full day L2 and U3 class, therefore they will choose the students who are more independent and punctural in class to join the whole day class.

After you apply the whole-day class, the class teacher and 主任will assess the student to see if she/he is suitable for the whole-day class.

After 12nn am session in York, they will have lunch and then go to stafford to take a snap (around 1 hr, but I heard that this year, no more snap for students) and then have afternoon tea and do the homework, afterwards start the pm course...4:00pm class end.

YORK 都收咗我個仔讀K1(2010年)我都好擔心佢D學費貴因我有2個小朋友俾得哥哥讀,細佬都要一樣啦...我聽人講學費+雜費+學嘢要件~$5000/月所以我咪打算唔讀...但睇嚟(看你們說)都好似OK喎,不過請問貓女係咪??~$3700,如果加埋課外活動約多少$$,同埋有什麼課外活動...
