The school lady said they will publish P1 placement result on web next week.

Most kids will go to DSS school (not local school) since they focus on creative thinking & english. 1 boy goes to DPS & 1 gal goes to Maryknoll last yr.

I just called the school and they confirmed me that upper nursery = K1 (for 3 years old children)

My daughter also got accepted for KLT Cantonese/English pm class....but is Think a good school? It is quite expensive....

Compared to Stafford (also accepted) which is better? Can anyone help? I must pay the deposit soon...

I do agree that THINK is quite expensive, but there's no other miscellaneous fee. I don't know if other private KG also includes those miscellaneous fee in their school fee or not.

what do you mean no miscellaneous fee? They also have book fees/uniform fees etc...also, from the talk, they have many excursions during the year. Do those cost extra money?

Jeco, per my understanding, THINK kids will mostly go to DSS active learning approach school or International school. If you plan to put kid in "traditional local school" in future, I guess THINK is not fit. I have the same concern also & therefore, I am still paying to pay deposit or not.

I have another 3 schools on hand & is still thinking, don't want to pay deposit for all coz it is expensive.

Will you attend St Cat interview tmr?

I think it will be a trend for schools to use PTH in teaching CHI in Primary and secondary .. esp those so called famous school

I also agree with Jeco. I think our children will have enough exposure in Cantonese at home, so it will be ok even if they don't study Cantonese at school. And yes, the trend is to have good English and PTH skills, and studying PTH can actually help the child in Chinese writing in Primary/Secondary. But the problem is.....I don't know PTH!!!

me too .. I don't know PTH ... haahahah so I have to rely on external sources e.g. schs/ tutorials to teach my son!

Actually, I prefer Eng/PTH more than Eng/Cantonese for K2 & k3, I think it is better to learn chinese using PTH in reading & writing prospective. I also think the 2 hrs english daily is very attractive.

My concern is whether they have enough writing to make kids be prepared for local P1 study. So far, my friends' kids are all going to DSS active learning school but not traditional school.

We most likely will pay deposit first & decide later.

My kid is accepted to study upper nursery in Cantonese/English am class too. ...But my kid was born in 2008 FEB???
