Secondary School Places Allocation Results

Yes, I missed St. Clare.

I know the school will announce the first version of the results on the same day when EDB announces the official results.
Usually there will be a second version which will be updated by the school a few days after.
The best way is to print out the first version and do a comparison with the second version and then we will know the new changes clearly.

Now one question comes to my mind is “are the additional results due to successful knock-door in the past three days??”
Some of the schools on the list are very well-known in town.

What do you think??

One possibility is that those TSL pupils were on the waiting list for some time and when some other candidates made the final decision in the past few days so some seats were released and those TSL pupils were being informed to enrol.

Hope there will be another update soon.

我囡囡去年tsl升中,去年班男仔超勁, 全級頭十名得2個女仔, 唔似大部份小學都係女仔叻d, tsl 教學方法男女都適合, 所以有時女仔叻d,有時男仔叻d.

聽聞今年升中女仔叻d !

overall成績好既tsl女仔升中好穩陣, 因spcs同mms都好喜歡tsl既女仔, 其實今年spcs收tsl既學生比而家公佈既多, 因有幾個之前收咗唔讀無註冊

- Really??     Yes, boys perform better in some years whereas it is the other way around for girls in other years.

Do you know the ratio of Non-Chinese Students admitted to both SPCS and Marymount?   20-30%??   Or less than that?

SPCS is indeed a very good school.  
Do you know what other schools those TSL girls go to when they gave up the seats offered by SPCS?

If you are on E.K./B.K. long enough, you should know that I am just a counterfeit!!  

Many people know that, though occasionally there will be speculation like that which makes me look rather suspicious!!  

If I were the real Principal, I will definitely not use my current login name!!

Principal a counterfeit

Noticed that a few students (at least 6) moved from other schools to what I call the REAL band 1 schools (the old grant schools, mostly with religious background).

I tend to separate the schools under Band 1 into band 1-1, band 1-2 and band 1-3 .

This does not necessarily imply that my own kid can make it, though.  Needs a lot more

Principal a counterfeit (this doesn’t sound a very good name to me and it seems to be something from our dear motherland.   Also, it spoils my image to a large extent.        I still prefer you to address me as
e-Principal which sounds more positive and hope it can avoid  any unnecessary misunderstanding/speculation in future).

- This is too vague.  Would you mind to make it more explicit to us?   In case you do not want to post it in public, please PM me.

- The school does not make any classification on this any more.
The results are just raw data for anyone to make his/her own interpretation.
Please do not make it too complicated!!   

This does not necessarily imply that my own kid can make it,though.

Needs a lot more.

- Again, according to my very accurate sixth sense, you and your child will make it 2 years later!!

A friend who is a P6 parent said their class teacher told them that this yr there were a total of 163 students for P6 ==> F1.

Re the changes in allocation (7 July vs 10 July)

1 more to DGS
1 more to Heep Yun
1 more to St. Clare's
2 more to St. Paul's College
1 more to St. Stephen's

1 less in Wong Fut Nam
1 less in Carmel Secondary Sch

So there's been a little movement for the better (my ranking).

Based on such movement, does it mean that the chance for TSL’s graduates on “knock-door” is quite positive?

Any other comments from the P6 parent who you know on this year’s allocation results in general?

I just tried to "interpret" the publicly available data.

But I DO know that BK is under surveillance by the school.
