I sometimes see school buses in ESF TY in the morning session...most of them are "3 or 4 kittens".
The school gate opens on time (8:30am) and the children needs to stay on the school bus and then to be escorted by the school bus auntie at 8:30am (TY parents, Please correct me if i was wrong!)
If WKS runs in the same way, u have no chance to ask any other school bus companies to do that unless if u have someone accompanies.
(In fact, if u have someone accompanies, u don't need a school bus!)

It's the same in Abacus and the kids have to wait for 5 - 10 mins before all school buses are back then teachers will come out to pick up all of them.

And the RC school bus will drop kid at RC, not WKS, which is still two MTR (MOS line) stations away...

Bring out this concern to WKS kinder, I think it may be "negotiable" since this is their first year, just try. Do you know who is the school bus operators now?

different ESF kinda have different operators. Koon Chung is taking care RC...
Just wild guess, they have a big chance to get the tendor for WKS as long as they have been serving RC.

Maybe true. But RC has 1-2K students as their potential customer, vs WKS will only have 1-200 students, and the turnaround time for the bus will need to count. Since primary school operate earlier so they need to pick those primary kids then kinder one, so may not have enough time to do that all over HK.

Some Abacus school bus is taking both CWBS and Abacus students as they only take care of Sali Kung / CWB / TKO area only.

Hope ESF can make some arrangement for those kid in WKS la.

Yes. Just check ESF TY web info, the bus contractor can even serve children from Fanling; why not WKS?

睇青衣的服務...可能有d機會....

其實我之前已經打算留位, 諗住點都留左先, .... 寄票中連埋一封信番去, 信內提及我要求校巴... 因為成份確認信都無一個位表示我地需要校巴服務與否。
同埋我係tour時，當日強烈地問及負責人，我需要校巴，如果到時無咁點.... 佢話可以refund...

但在確認位後及信件寄出後，她最後再用e-mail回覆我... 當中態度好像不願再討論，在解釋現階段無人可以答應一定有校巴(我知道及明白),只可以幫我keep住份form先...到有明確picture時才話我知。仲話而家仍有好多位tim....唔趕住confrim....所以我都唔知我算唔算有留位囉... 我只知佢唔會過我支票住....不過已經係2月的事... 不再有其他消息...

我都唔知佢而家的進度係點.... 麻煩2位媽媽... 你地如果知道校長幾時到....又或有什麼新消息... 話我知啦....thanks

The new principal will on board by end of April. So I guess you can have a better idea what is going on after April, and I will suggest you "feed" her some ideas about what the WKS parents are thinking and what you really need. And she was the Head of Early Childhood at the Australian International School from 2005 - 2007 so should have understanding about HK education pretty well.

Just curious to ask : according to WKS website, the occupation permitis due on May. To whom u can put pressure? The government or thedeveloper?
Iguess once the premise has been handovered to WKS, they will be doingthe decoration in full speed...for 200 vacancies, it is talking about>HK$10 million tuition fee per annum.
Most probably, the schoolwill be an "isolated island" at the earliest beginning since theapartments above will remain empty until they are sellable; and noadjacent facilities may be seen (e.g. convenient store).

where is the kinder?

Aiya this is the whole Lake Silver site that has not finished, then I have some doubt about it. The building frame is still there, it will take another 6 months to finish the interior at least for the whole building..... so will the kinder open earlier than Lake Silver itself, depends on where is the kinder, outside or inside? will need to check with ESF if they have any fallback plan once the kinder cannot be hand over on time, I think even they can get it on May or Jun, ESF still have to decorate itself, so hope it can finish soon. Again good luck!

just saw this in ESF Newsletter for May, may be not a good news.... parents should call ESF and ask if everything is on schedule, including the campus:

"In the last issue of ESF News we announced the appointment of Marilyn Clark as Principal of the new ESF International Kindergarten in Wu Kai Sha. Unfortunately, Marilyn has had to withdraw for family reasons and we are now re-advertising the position."
